I always wondered why they Canadian National cockeyed the headlights. Hey Schnauzah, I want you to keep making your effort full videos. Don’t let the haters get to you. Just ignore them.

I wish CN had kept these around for yard work like the wide nose GP38-2s and GP40-2s.

The story about the engines providing power to the town happened in January 1998, in Boucherville, Quebec. That ice storm covered most of South-eastern Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.

Fantastic review! Most of the differences on the MR-20b and MR-20c come from CN when they modified them around the 1980s. CN relocated the horn to behind the cab, added ditch lights, and on some units the doors were replaced with latched versions (which can be seen on the MR-20c). The MR-20a is modeled without CN's modifications. Happy you enjoyed these.

Its been SOOOO nice finally getting some proper Canadian motive power next to the G11. Proper Canadian power has been so sorely needed to replace that awfully old Kuju SD40 widenose. There's some wonkiness with the A model having ditchlight effects while not physically having ditchlights, but otherwise these are awesome.

Holy shitballs. I had the good fortune of operating one of these when I was a teenager riding with a local crew here in Ohio. The engineer would let me do the switching a lot of the time at customers. The shortline Ohio Central Systems owned two. The engineer hated getting this unit in the rotation because it only had one brake shoe per wheel, making it less effective at switching. It had one hell of a cab heater, and a hot plate, so you didn't have to put your lunch on the coolant tank in the engine bay to heat it up! Another little detail was a stencil in the cab above the front windows telling crew members to report all defects to the "Diesel Doctor."

Now that I've bought it I can resume watching this video. I paused this video when I saw both front doors opening. My jaw fell on my lap when I saw it. This is commitment to quality.
Now here's a thought: compare this to the FA and PA featured on the BA route.

K3Hs and K3Ls from the same era should sound the same. The only difference should be the manifold

$22.97 (NZD) isn't a bad price for these things. I'll have to try them out when I get the chance, despite having that CP Revelstoke route and nothing from CN territory.

I dunno bro I’m torn, that gp40 pack run 8 might have this one beat bro, ha! Nah this bitch is gangster, it reminds me of what I love bout the sd70 Mac and ace sound packs man that deep deep throaty bass sounds like it’s an actual train running by you, not the stock sounding like your neighbors corded ass leaf blower running thru your closed garage. This is real dealio. Someone crushed this one ima have to scoop this little jimmy 😂

Also you need to patent the term on UA-cam ….”welp, we’re in notch 8….I slapped her on the ass n we’re giving her all she’s got.” 😂 oh wait, or look closely….this one’s smokin a lot more like it’s been slapped around more 😂 maybe I’m the only one who appreciates dumb shit like that n how funny it is

Sorry for asking is it me or is the front door look really really narrow thin like a Locker door ? Florida! Let's go to Florida ha-ha your something else which is what makes you so Good. every game I have ever play using one of these locomotives there inside Cab views are by far the best looking and feeling I've ever played with, not sure why that is but it's the Truth. Super Nice opening front doors for that fresh air intake. What what No in cab Hot warming plate as almost every CN unit has in them, to reheat coffee or a meal some units even have a Microwave in them. Really nice touch with the window pop-out wind deflector as I would have thought maybe one of the units would have all weather side windows attached to them give this units Run through Brutal winters.

I been watching your videos for ever, I don’t comment a lot but I want to buy from these companies but I just don’t like that after you buy the item, you can lose the item for good if you don’t have back up downloads of the items. I want to buy this so bad.

Get an external HDD for backups. I regularly backup both my Railworks folder and my 3rd party assets folder. Then get a free backup software that backs up / copies only new files and those that have been changed, to speed up the process. Simples.
