- It's been a hot minute since I partook of this much loved Teesside delicacy, but today I'm getting reacquainted with it up at The Station Hotel in Pickering.
If you can sink two deep fried chicken cutlets, smothered in beschamel sauce and cheese, stuffed with doner meat and accompanied by deep fried twice-cooked chips and a pound of coleslaw, inside 40 minutes; then the entire £25 meal is on the house. You also get a winner's t-shirt and a spot on their wall of fame.
This one has only been defeated once, with only two minutes to spare!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Stick in there. I've been there myself a few times over the years and yet I'm still here - life is full of ups and downs. When you're feeling down, just remember that as sure as night follows day, there will be an upside following quickly to perk you up again. You just need to roll with the punches and look forward to the good times, because they always come.

If I can give you a suggestion, N S -- do something really nice for somebody else. It can be someone you know or a complete stranger. And it doesn't really matter what you do for them, just do something for them without any desire for compensation. It's one of life's truth's: doing a loving, compassionate, giving act for another person is an expression of God's love for us, and that act will make you feel His love for us in return.
Hey man! You should make it official with mrs beard and do a series of “beard vs wedding” videos where you taste cakes, but have to eat the whole cake, try different catering places but you have to eat a whole tray of the food, prob get a sweet wedding reception out of it having all the companies featured, big fan!

I was drinking my Babycham in the pub earlier and some gannet decided that he'd have the biggest breakfast on the menu and then said he was inspired by man versus food (booooooo!) then some other bloke said 'you need to check out beard meats food!' I immediately fell in love with this gentleman but he said 'I'm not buying you a Babycham' and 'but I'm not gay leave me alone'...but I think you've made things happen! :D Much love from darn sarf!

Just want to comment that for a good thing, I have found your Channel a few months or years back.
The reason why I say this is because I log onto my computer and before I can log into UA-cam, I need to sign in right.
Before I log in to UA-cam I get the spam (JUNK) videos that populate ,as to get you to watch.
I did get suckered into one of the videos , I was on a shitty trip down the You Tube hole.
What I am saying is , I am happy to Be part of the BEARD ARMY and I truly love watching you and am a big Fan of your endeavoring power to slay any challenge that is given....

@@yannick512 Nothing serious as such, just highly annoying. Due to the way my jaw grew, I was given the choice between extensive braces and jaw surgery or, at some point between 5 and 8 years, chew my own four front teeth out of my skull. It wasn't much of a choice.
I'm now about 9 months (hopefully) away from having the whole medical treatment done with, and it's cost me about 16% of my body weight since the start. I haven't been able to eat anything that includes meat, bread, fruit (unless chopped up) or anything solid and bigger than what is healthy to swallow whole. Simply because, while I can technically chew, it takes so long to eat that it takes more energy to get it down than it gives me. Adding to that, if I chew too much, the braces get strained and I'll have a headache for the next day or two.
I'm also extremely resistant to painkillers, meaning anything that causes pain I can't alleviate.
Sorry for the wall of text. :)

5:42 - Yeah it's Tzatziki sauce. It's usually for lamb gyros. It's yogurt, garlic, and sometimes cucumber pieces mixed in.

I have been following your channel ever since I came across your name on a documentary. Your channel is far more entertaining than the others out there. You make your videos lively with all your jokes and also with your polite talk.
thanks for making the videos, especcially what you say about the food helps me get an appetite. because of chronic pain (caused by a stroke) I have very little appetite. so it often feels like force feeding.

I rarely remember to Like videos but watching Beard be nice and generally goid-vibed dude made me remember.
The first, four clips getting coffee is badass.
Originally, parmos were made with pork fillet and so would be more of a challenge than a chicken parmo, but that parmo was impressively dispatched all the same.
I laughed at the “we are not married bit” then I thought at her taking ALL the money then I laughed again…bravo mrs beard!
Another stellar performance. No drama - none of the 'Man V Food' Ohh I was just only just maybe just cliffhanger nonsense. Beard just delivers. If he can do it he just does.

The only delicacy from Teesside is "savoury duck " which is a mishmash of meat offcuts which are minced and reformed into semi hemispheres and recooked. They are quite savoury and can be eaten hot or cold.
