Id love to see advice for people who have never owned Tegus. What you should be prepared for, good things, bad things, ease/difficulty of care just anything
Could you do a video on basic care for a baby tegu? There's plenty of resources on how to keep mature lizards but there aren't many on what to do when you bring a hatchling home and their care/dietary needs. Love your videos
Absolutely! I'll be compiling a list of all requests for future videos :) my female is just about to lay eggs in the next 7-17 days. I'll make a video with my subadult first and a proper baby video once the eggs hatch, so about 2.5 to 3 months from now.
Depending on growth stage, my adults eat every 2 days in the summer generally but now that it's fall and they're slowing down for brumation they're only eating once or twice a week by choice. 1 has been sleeping since July, my male has been down for about 2 weeks now and my other 2 females are only awake for a couple of hours every 2-3 days. You kind of have to go based on your animals wants :) I hope this helps.

If you don't mind me asking how do the grow tents work for you
How often are you feeding your tegu? I just rescued mine and am still learning how to care for him.
