I appreciate the insight bro.. As a 25 year old who’s finally making enough $ that I can buy the guns I’ve always wanted. Gotta remember the priorities.
Don’t subscribe to a lot of people; however, I really enjoy your videos. I use your content often to get a better well rounded view of a product. Keep it up
First off, it was awesome to meet you and I had a blast chatting! 100% you’re going to kill it as a full time creator! Next up…. Great commentary here. All the gear is fun and this is an epic hobby but certainly something to keep within financial reason.
It’s insane what Larue and Geissele want for their MRGG-S rifles….can’t speak for G since they are pretty new to the large frame AR game but the Larue is basically just a PredatOBR with 20” barrel…I can’t really see anything else that they have changed
So it’s essentially a circle jerk like most trade shows. It’s funny bc the A cut on the Glock slide for the COA optic is probably the best thing coming out. It will be the best optic mount on any pistol now that it’s hitting the market. But somehow people still think Glock is whack and irrelevant.
Been here since the start. Definitely have enjoyed your evolution. As far as topics interested in seeing other stuff besides the builds etc. Ammo storage, what you pack for the range, vehicle setup etc
Well i figured out a long time ago that this entire industry is just a money printing machine for defense companies. Most of us good ole country boys out here that have a handful of hunting rifles dont need any of this crap the market is pushing. This idea of being prepared is a con. 90 percent of all these preppers out there with tenths of thousands of dollars in guns and ammo and night vision will be the first to fall if anything really bad did happen. I find it hilarious. Most of them are gonna get robbed for there fancy gear . Nobody is promoting tent camping and how to skin a deer or cook over a fire in the woods. No because there aint no money in it. Everyone wants to be GI Joe till its time to rough it out in the woods for more than a day or two. Its a joke! All us country boys are gonna be laughing our ass off when all those batteries die in that fancy gear and they starve to death. I mean, think about it, how much crap can one person tote? Not much! Point is , its all a lie. I grew up on a farm and still live on one. Been hunting all my life. I can shoot anything that moves out to a thousand yds with just my rifle and cheap scope. No ballistic calculator no chronograph none of that crap. It takes just a little common sense and a place to shoot and thats it. Someone needs to be offering survival lessons for city boys not more ammo or night vision. You dont need any more guns than you can personally carry. Thats it! 99 percent of your time will be spent trying to figure out how to eat and just make it to the next day. People have no idea and nobody is telling them the truth! Even the guys that are ex combat vets dont understand providing the basic essentials of life day to day because they are getting resupplied constantly. They do receive a little training but less than one tenth of a percent of them have ever had to actually do it in real life. Its all a con! WAKE UP AMERICA! QUIT BUYING ALL THIS CRAP AND GO CAMPING! LEARN HOW TO LIVE IN THE MOUNTAINS WITH NO FOOD OR ELECTRICITY! All this is what someone such as yourself should be trying to get people to understand if they are really worried and want to be prepared. Everyone is thinking about combat. Well, that wont last long. How they gonna live after combat .
Two sides of the same coin country boy. That bolt action can only take you so far once the concrete jungle comes into play. I get what you’re saying though. Wilderness survival is paramount. Most people would starve to death or die to food poisoning.
If you like long range you should consider training for and competing in a Gas Gun Show match! There will be one coming up in the next couple months east of Waco
I'd like to see a Robinson Arms XCR review. I've never shot one or seen one in person, but features wise, it seems so ahead of its time that, despite it's age, it stays competitive. It doesn't get much love.
I subbed just because you seem like a sincere young man. I look forward to your future content. Gun content is my form of tv. I wish you much success with your channel now !
Very valid points. I’ve downscaled my stuff drastically in the past couple of months due to a similar epiphany. No use in having tens of thousands of dollars worth of high level gear and equipment just to inevitably covet the next shiny marketed product. I will say however, even though I’m not going to be buying one right this instant, the Staccato HD solves essentially every single gripe and issue I’ve had with the 1911/2011 for over 20 years. One of the few things I’ve been genuinely interested in for a VERY long time. This is coming from someone who only likes the HK USP and Glock platforms after shooting everything under the sun more than thrice.
Not gonna lie, I'm a little interested in the LWRC 12.7"... Good video though. Too many guys fall into consooming too much. What they should be doing is ensuring that they have a solid CCW setup, and train consistently with it.
I'm also excited w/ the mrgg stuff coming soon. Specifically the geissele mrgg-s. I've wanted to build a sass type gun for a while but couldn't decide, and now I'm between the geissele or the seekins sp10-m (usasoc). Curious to see how the mrgg guns impact long range stuff this year as they become available, hopefully they perform well!
Have watched some of your previous stuff but just subbed! Good luck on your guntubing venture. Totally agree on don't buy crap you don't need and don't go into debt for it. Something i wish i did in my 20s. My advice for someone just getting in the game... First and foremost get a good compact ccw that you'll actually carry and train with. Then a full size version of that and build out a duty belt. Then rifle and lots of ammo and training and GET FIT
"do I still want them? Yeah, because I have a problem".... RDB you are literally great at this shit my brother, you hit me write in my "I identify with that" feels. Like man, when I first started in this community, all the new guns, even pistols, I wanted em, now that I am trying to make content and I actually get my hands on stuff, Im always thinking to myself, "for the working family man/woman, why the fuck is this bettter then getting vs. the stuff thats been kicking ass for years?" and almost always I think, Fuck no it aint. Either way, i too have a problem and plan on attending 12 step programs to deal with it, (2A Consumer Anonymous) lmfao
Bro this is STANDARD practice in the United states regarding any and ALL salesmen and advertisements. They lie like the devil to get your money. Always be skeptical about anything and everyone who’s selling a product or new gimmick. We got dudes mounting sky scraper red dots out here and because they’re cool everyone’s doing it even if it’s stupid… cool kids could literally piss themselves and most people will follow suit just because they wanna be like Mike.
It's great if you're new in the industry or trying to find suppliers or sell your stuff. Many new gun products make more sense when you're holding them. This was my first year and I'm launching a new project. It was well worth what I paid.
There's a company called Shellshock tech that makes a hybrid case similar to the sig fury. Badlands and a couple other companies use these cases for their ammo. They get impressive performance, but are difficult to handload due to the material strength.
shellshock has been a thing for like a decade now. The biggest thing holding them back is the AR15 isn't designed for higher pressure cartridges that the hybrid case can handle.
@@youtubedude3422 Really depends on the cartridge. Bolt guns tend to be able to handle these hotter pressures than semi autos. For example, you could probably push 6arc faster than you can with a conventional case in a Remington 700 in 6arc. AR15s can't even handle the max pressure of 6arc in a brass case.
Yeah currently going through this too. LWRC IC MKII is the new hot thing, mlok rail and adjustable gas system for the piston. Do I need it? absolutely not, I have the LWRC M6IC SPR, proprietary rail and non adjustable piston. Everything else is the same thing. Also the new Knights AR, literally same everything other than rail. same A2 grip, same barrel, gas system, and BCG. Whats the poiint of buying the new stuff. Just train on what ya got.
SHOT is an industry show where deals are done behind closed doors. When they started allowing social media influencers like you access it turned it into what you see in 2025, no offence intended directly at you. Just observations from someone who has been going for 15 years.
I have definitely had those instances where I bought the latest gun and it was somewhat disappointing when I got it to the range. (Cough Cough Sig Spear) It was disappointing because the suppressed setting didnt let it run any of my suppressors. I had to run the sig specific suppressor with specific weight 308 ammo. Its also why I like the new Staccato HD concept but I dont understand why they set it up for metal glock mags.
Guns are no different than any other product. I just got into watches and the reality a cheap Casio does the same as a Rolex. Like you said it’s incremental increases and we buy into it. Most dudes collect guns and try to play it off like they are “real” shooters
I've been following your channel for a while now. I really like how u always talk about family & God . U seem like a guy with good morals. Keep it up & try your hardest not to become a shill. Lol
The guna industry is no different than any other popular billion dollar industry in America no different than gaming all about consumerism I watched so many dudes go in a gun store bringing back a gun that they had built because their wife said no and they are in law enforcement . now the ffl has to try to sell the gun he helped this guy build because he can't afford to keep it. And the ffl is limited who they can sell it to because only another law enforcement person can buy the gun in New York.
I appreciate the insight bro.. As a 25 year old who’s finally making enough $ that I can buy the guns I’ve always wanted. Gotta remember the priorities.
Range Day Bro is evolving into Mindful Consumerism of Products Bro. I support it.
Lmao well said…I too approve
Run! Lift weights! I’m literally running 5 miles as I listen:

I love that you spoke up to industry leaders about supplying the civ market as well. Some gangster shiz right der boi

The price of the MRGG should be half of what it is

@@pilotincommand85 Geissele has a contract, Larue does not lol.
The b&t print xh is very innovative and it will definitely be a big upgrade over previous gen suppressors. That tech will just get better and better.
I bought into the hype back when it was teased in september and have one on order. I think it will hold me off for a 556 can for the next few years.
Another fantastic video. I want more rifle reviews. 6.5, 6 arc, good 5.56, etc. Like you, this is what I love watching.
Wholesome shit right here. Good luck bro
