An excellent device. And the question is, when will Sennheiser bring out recorders with more channels, Sound Devices type and even TASCAM or Zoom style handheld?
Hello, I have always been curious why the digital input of KH750 is BNC while that of KH150 is RCA, and now the digital output of MT48 has been changed to ADAT... Why can't it be unified as BNC? As we all know, BNC has performance and durability at the same time.
ADAT supports up to eight channels and is available only in optical format. The optical I/O also supports in S/PDIF mode (stereo) RCA and BNC connectors can only be used for stereo signals (S/PDIF/AES3). So, given the limited space on the backplate, we decided to offer optical I/O because it allows for both 8-channel ADAT and stereo S/PDIF. For interfacing with devices using RCA or BNC connectors, converters are available.
Its based on the merging anubis which has a certain role to play in the merging ecosystem, hence why the low input count. It doesnt need more, for what it was designed for. But in this rebrand, it kinda doesnt quite make ae much sense, at least not yet.

Hello there! First of all because USB is available on any computer and due to the plethora of USB devices, computer manufacturers and operating systems will continue to support USB for a long, long time. While Thunderbolt is common place on Macs , it is rarely seen on Windows computers. Thunderbolt, although more recent, is less future proof. Should Apple decide to drop Thunderbolt, it would soon disappear (like FireWire did, years ago).
