      Gee he was like a bulldozer and it seemed many of the creatures would have been crushed as we could see they had moved. And not a quick death but the slow death of having a limb trapped or crushed. I remember doing this stuff as a little kid and being kinder and more careful.

    What an absolutely fantastic and fascinating film, thank you for making it!
    I had no idea that Wales had that variety of sea life on its shores.
    You mentioned that it was the lowest tide for five years, how come, I thought tides were cyclical, and biannually you had the highest and lowest.
    If you read this I’d love to hear why!
    Hope that you have survived 2020 and all it’s challenges!

    • @coastalforagingwithcraigev8447
      @coastalforagingwithcraigev8447  4 роки тому +1

      Tides can be predicted for many years in advance , however many events effect the height etc. an onshore wind will keep the tide in while an offshore wind will send it out further and for longer . High air pressure will press down on the sea and keep it out further and for longer, conversely low air pressure will cause the sea to rise up towards it and it will not go out so far. The coastal forager likes high pressure and an offshore wind ( not asking for much LOL), regards Craig

    Tip. If you roll over rocks on beaches DO NOT put them back because you WILL crush everything under that rock

    • @Arlano76
      @Arlano76 5 років тому +3

      There's a lot of life on the rock itself. If not replaced on the same place, on the same side, the sun and lack of water would destroy many things, and goes up the food ladder.
      not many things are squished if any.
      So my tip, having done some of those fishing. Do the exact contrary of what you said. :/
