It's another year, and another air show on another very hot day at The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby. Because of the weather conditions it made it very difficult to film during the first few hours of the air display. There was a lot of heat haze when aircraft in the distance, this also wasn't helped with some of the displays being higher and further away from the crowd line this year. Sadly some displays that were filmed were unusable in the the final video. This video is some of the highlights from the flying displays.

For me many miles away in North Scotland this was a fine video to share thanks. I used to see the nose of HJ711 often at Blackpool airport, seems like a dream to view the moving triumph now.

The CAA rules on what is - and is not - permitted - get tighter every year. Oshkosh is much more interesting, from a spectator's flying point of view.
Where's that Mossie at the beginning based? I thought we'd lost our last one some years ago?
This is based at East Kirkby. It was to be homed at Elvington Air Museum in York before being moved a few years ago. Sadly it isn't air worthy and can only do ground runs.
