    I really like his mentality about his workouts and competitions. Giving your best and not overtraining is always very positive for running.

    If he is doing a VO2 Max workout like the coach said he is running @ his 2 mile pace and the recovery is 1:1, meaning what ever he runs he rests. It is a very good workout add it to your routine and you will see results.

    In such vids on youtube about workouts - often I am missing the regeneration times - its pretty important like the actual reps themself.

      His rhythm is in his shoulders. Being a distance runner, there is less need for more arm swing as in sprint mechanics. He is relaxed and doing fine.

    This guy just keeps hitting PRs. Very efficient arm movement when striding. The speed work has made the difference for him. He just keeps improving. Brazier's biggest threat in the US.

    I always thought his arm swing was so awkward, but then you watch GOATS like Kelvin Kiptum and realize the arm relaxation is essential to fast running.

      Jgt11gamer I mean I agree with that statement, but it’s very inefficient when someone of elite quality should be able to relax the arms and use them effectively. Practice how you play.

      Nub Cast this guy runs nearly 5-6 mph in his 800 races. Imagine you run a 4 minute mile:15mph then you do 6 min mile repeats:10mph. It would be an absolute JOG

    I read he is top runner but I cant see the point of this pedestrian workout for his level.

      Mike Porter This is a VO2 max workout designed to increase his efficient use of oxygen. It is 4800 meters total so correct pace and recovery time is essential. The pace would be somewhere around his two mile pace with 1:1 run/recovery time. Its a tough workout.

    Just saw him in a race. Much better arm action in a race however he barely lost a 2nd place and w more arm action it might have kicked in a 2nd place
