UCLA asked me to send 2 more essays most likely because I touched on hardships / difficult situations in my essays, an they needed more information! I wanted to tell them some information about my life, but also focus on packaging! The essays are short tho so I couldn't say everything and still have the essays have a strong effect :)

Honestly, it doesn't seem like you wrote these essays. It very much sounds like you're reading them secondhand. Also, the University of Chicago has lower standards than UCLA. Something isn't quite adding up. UCLA acceptance: 14.1% (SAT Range 1240-1490) University of Chicago acceptance 77.1% (SAT range: 1150-1390)

Because I did write them, they are 100% mine. How can you even say that they don’t sound like mine, i literally wrote them and read them aloud for the camera. Also The University of Chicago’s acceptance rate is 7.9%.... so yeah they actually do have higher standards than UCLA. Either way, I was accepted to both and I’m not sure what is “not adding up” to you.
