Even a finished grand prix horse can occasionally make mistakes in the changes. In this video, JJ and Montana address a common problem in the changes: Late behind or a little short in the hind legs.
JJ reminds us of the daily vocabulary and it’s importance no matter how well trained the horse may be, and that we must always be paying attention and be “owning” that canter when we ask for a flying change.
