As a white man I find that black women need everything that other races do. They need to be loved and treated nice and to work together as part of a team
thank you for taking the time yo answer....as a RMWSP ( Red man Who Speaks Spanish) I have never been attracted to Latino and always felt black women were welcoming and felt safe to be around them. i took your advice as meaning to tell otner men that only WM get that priviledge but surely you did not mean that. what i have found in many latino women that is off putting is their refusal to accept their non-european heritage. the fact my relationship with women in my family has not been great may explain why I feel that way
Nice video. Married to my wife 24 years. I’ve learned a lot about black women and hair. And my youthful crushes: Nichelle Nichols, Pam Grier, BerNadette Stanis, and Diahann Carol😉I also think we ought to read some black history and Malcolm X Speaks. Blessings
Damn girl! You said a mouth full of nothing but truth! It's 2024 and it's our time to take the world by storm when it comes to interracial dating and mating. I date out and I love it. There are many wonderful quality non black men that are sweet nice and have a great deal to offer if only (some) of us can think outside the box and open up our dating options. Over the summer (I live in Los Angeles) I saw so many black ladies with non black men walking hand in hand smiling and looking happy as can be. I also saw so many black women pushing strollers with their mixed-race kids walking with their nonblack men looking happy. The world is changing and more people (especially black women) are a part of the change when it comes to interracial dating. We are taking the world by storm and that is a good thing, Amanda. 👰🏾♀🤵🏻♂💍💒🤰🏾👩🏾🍼👶🏼👶🏻👶🏾💖💗💝
I'm definitely one of the happy white men with a black woman. For me, what I like about the hair and some of the different styles is the Afro-centricity of them. Black women are different, but different is beautiful.
With all due respect, I think a lot of these conversations are very one sided. I understand that many women of color feel apprehension based on historical injustices but currently it seems that all the expectations are placed on the male. We have to remember that currently there is a raging culture war and to many WM it may feel unsafe to pursue these types of relationships. Imagine the prospect of entering into a community that views you as an oppressor and constantly having to mitigate those impressions. We live in a culture where if we advocate on our behalf, we often get labeled as tone-def or a supremacist. I understand and respect the trepidation that many BW feel about entering into unions with WM. Historically we have not been the best stewards in representing humanity. Also, I can completely understand why many BW would never consider it precisely for that reason. However, we all have to take a step back and understand that harm reduction isn't exclusive to BW. The difference is that when women of color face bigotry you are encouraged to challenge it, WM are encouraged to dismiss it. A perfect example is Dr. Umar Johnson, as far as I'm aware (I could be wrong) very little is done within the community to challenge his rhetoric. It is very frightening to think that some of his biggest fans could be my future in-laws. I am not trying to draw an equivalency here. I understand that injustices directed at people of color outweigh in comparison to our dilemmas. It is just fuel for thought to explore. I don't want to give the impression that I'm against interracial relationships because I'm absolutely not. I just think that many non-white individuals view us as these Teflon statues that navigate the world with complete confidence and a lack of emotional depth. In many ways we are just as frightened as you are!
Thanks for this insightful comment. I should say though that this video is for the men out there who either are actively with someone or has someone in mind and aren’t necessarily dealing with the trepidation of approaching because they’re already “in it” so to speak. As far as Dr. Umar goes, I think you’d be hard pressed to find a black woman who watches my channel and supports him and his views lol. Again, thank you and be well. ✨❤️
I think you were spot on, it breaks my heart when black women try to compare themselves to white women when black women are absolutely beautiful and have unique features to black women that make them highly desirable to me and all kinds of men. I thought your story about you and your boyfriend was hilarious and I definitely went through a similar situation about 6 months ago. I wanted to learn all about your beautiful hair and how to work with it as I have known for many years now I will marry a black woman and will have mixed kids and I want to be able to help my wife do her hair and our kids hair.
Amanda, you are such a revolutionary in this interracial dating game. I see you as a 21st-century international global thinking lady with a progressive mindset that many black women have or are considering divesting from what many call THE PLANTATION. The information you are putting out is critical to black women who are choosing to take the road less traveled. Many of us are breaking the generational cycle of pain, poverty, and struggle with love by not only dating out, not only marrying up, not only procreating out but also getting our US Passports and traveling overseas to do it. America on so many levels is done. I predict that not since The Great Migration that we saw in the 20th century are we going to see a plethora of mass exodus of black forward-thinking women leaving America and making Europe our new home base. Thank you Amanda😘
Thank you so much! Although I hope America sticks around for my lifetime lol. I really love my home here in Washington and do not want to move again lol. Be well! ✨❤️
Of course they are influential women that changed history and there are many, many, many, many, many more black and black biracial women who have. My point is that many of those women do not receive the credit that they deserve in the mainstream media, especially in comparison to many of their counterparts. I believe if those women were still around even they would agree.
I've been married to a wonderful white man for the last 30 years. My hair is natural, hip length, and while the topic of hair comes up from time to time, but not all that much. Hubby loves it, and is complementary regardless of how I'm wearing it that week. In 30 years, he's seen me in braids, twists, wigs, weaves, my natural curls, and silk pressed. We don't shair hair tools or products so while hair comes up occasionally, it's usually just in passing.
Well technically you should be best friends with the person you're with and who you marry because that helps to deal with some minor differences that both might have. That way it won't matter how they look with their hair etc. Also we could really use some traditional Black or even Asian women here in Europe because there are certain villages that are sort of dying out and they need to be replenished and one of the way to do that is to encourage BWWM interracial relationships and have them move in and settle in Europe to keep the traditional family life going. (Y) :3
I agree that your partner should be your best friend or at minimum one of your best friends. This video is more so for those who are still in the early stages of getting to know someone. ❤️
I have been reflecting on a video that I recently watched and wanted to share my thoughts. As a white male, I found the video to be eye-opening and informative. Additionally, I have always found Black women who wear braids to be very attractive.
I'm so happy that you found this to be informative. And really happy that you appreciate braids. It's a beautiful hairstyle and there are so many iterations of it.

LOVE YOU GIRL and my heart goes with u in everything u do in life bc I LIKE U and u HAVE a Lot to say on such an interesting Topic. Have a WONDERFUL WEEK Amanda!! 😊😊😊
Hello, hello John! Happy Super Bowl Sunday to you as well. I don’t watch football but I am a Taylor Swift fan haha so I’m rooting for her and her man. Thanks for the compliment. You’re really kind. And yes, I am with a white guy and while it wasn’t easy finding him I am incredibly happy I did and we’re super in love Finding a partner is incredibly hard and I wish you the best of luck on your journey. Have a beautiful week ahead my friend! ✨❤️
I have never in my life felt that black women were not as attractive as other races. Attraction is on an individual level and I just love women. I could give you a long list of black women that are hot as F. I have always thought Lisa Bonet was one of the hottest women I’ve ever seen in my life. There was a biracial girl I worked with in the same room that drove me out of my mind. I was older than her and she was married, but I don’t even know how much she realized she just made me crazy hot for her. Just live and love and be with who you are supposed to be with.
If your man is white, and your black, but he wore a white woman picture on his shirt, is that considered disrespect.👇 To me it's the ultimate disrespect,1. having 5:25 another woman on your shirt, and 2 She doesn't look like me, you kinda touched onto it a little. I'm a beautiful, black woman, I love myself, I don't want to look like Dolly Parton or Christy Brinkley. Can I get some input on it?
If you’re not asking for my input, disregard. If you are, I would say it’s contextual. Is it just a random person or is it a particular figure? For instance, I love Lenny Kravitz! I would totally wear a T-shirt with his face on it and my bf would be fine with that. Conversely, he likes Fleetwood Mac & if he wore a shirt with just Stevie Nicks on it I’d totally be okay with that. But these are public figures known for their art. I think that’s different from following particular models/influencers solely based on their looks, if that makes sense? I think it’s contextual and cumulative. But again this is solely my opinion.
Yeah I hate YT’s algorithm lol and all the things that should get flagged don’t and all the ways in which you have to play their games to win their prizes.
I stumbled across this video and I gotta say this and I hope that it isn't offensive. When you talked about hair care (Is that the right term?) for the black woman. Well it sounds exhausting.
It’s as exhausting as you want it to be and your perception of it. I find joy in trying out different styles and when I don’t find joy in it, I stop. Be well! ✨❤️
Just started listening to you. I am not dating anyone or for that matter have never dated a black woman.
