It's time for another Gear Review video! In this video, I'll share with you my opinions on a brand new capo I've been using with my new Breedlove Revival DR-Deluxe guitar: The Shubb C1n Standart Guitar Capo!
This capo is so easy to use and quick to change around when you need to. The main downside is that it doesn't clamp onto the headstock for quick access. You pretty much have to keep it in your pocket. But that's a small "con" compared to all the "pros" I go over in this video!
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the show. Here's hoping you learn something new that will help you along your journey toward guitar greatness!

Thank you for such a thorough review of this capo. I may buy one in the near future because of it. I’m just curious, what make and model of guitar are you playing in the video? Oh and by the way, the Elixir strings that you mentioned are also my favorite for acoustic guitar.

They make a fine tune shubb capo that’s similar to the Elliott and a little cheaper. If u miss keeping it at the nut.

That's a nice looking capo for sure, but it's not worth $75 for me to keep it at the nut, lol.

I like Shubb capos! Inexpensive and keeps my electric guitar in tune better than my G7th, Kyser, or Dunlop.

Seems to be more complicated than Keyser, especially if ya gotta change it during a song?

It's not as quick to change, but it's definitely not more complicated. I still prefer it to any capo I've ever used, and I still use it as my go-to capo for most shows.

Thanks Eric, great review. Question...I'm looking for a capo that will allow me to tune to drop E. Meaning I will capo all strings except the bottom E (6th string). This should work, what says you sir?

This capo works for that. I’ve used it at the 2nd fret many times. Just be careful not to bump it or it will fall off.
