Thanks!
Hi Ron, I really very much appreciate you supporting my channel. I will email you.😬
GS you are not only a blacksmith but also an inventor. Love your work!
I'm an accidental inventor. I'm always learning... Glad you enjoy. Thanks John.
Great video, learned a little and laughed a little. King of the jumping anvil.
There's not much else I can say. Been saying I'll get my anvils secured for years and still they have more moves than Michael Jackson. Thanks.
Amazing how effortless you make everything look, and how consistent your replication is! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Steve, I like your avatar - never noticed it before. Thanks.
As we say in Texas, “Back in the saddle (Taipei) again.” Hope your break was good.
I must've been a Texan in a former life as I just responded with "back in the saddle" to another person who commented about my return. Thanks.
Great job... Your skills are strong... Very impressive, Smith...
I'm always learning. Thanks.
I liked the design aspect of the indent just below the hole.
it gives the hook so much more character.
Interesting hooks, I have a similar one with a rope spliced to the eye for holding branches that need to be cut. I also notice the different climate when I visit my daughters in the tropics. Thanks Glen.
The difference in humidity form the Pacific NW to Taiwan is shocking. You feel like there's an invisible wall in front of you when you exit the airport in Taiwan. Thanks.
Nice set of hooks Glen.
Thanks Randy.
Another interesting project Glen. Hope you accomplished all you wanted in your CONUS trip!
No way I could get done all I wanted to do on this trip but I did get a lot accomplished. Thanks.
Back home are we, short visit. Nice looking hooks.☺🔥⚒
Back in the saddle - a two month trip. Feels good to be home but I miss lots about the States. Thanks.
Thanks Glen for another interesting video.
It's my pleasure. Thanks Lewis.
Really nice grab hooks, Glen. I’m fond of old logging tools used the mountains of western Pennsylvania. I’ve collected several hooks made by local smiths and a few log dogs, too.
Glad to see you returned back to Taipei safely. Stay cool.
Cheers!
Whipple
These hooks are obviously just decorative but I'd like to make some grab hooks that have a practical function beyond just hanging stuff from around the house. Staying cool in Taiwan is not easy. Thanks.
@@gstongs They’re still very nice and I liked how easily you moved the metal around on this project.
The heat on the east coast of the US was pretty bad over the past few days. Nothing compared to where you are, but substantially above what we are used to. At the blacksmithing school where I volunteer, I told the students tonight that if they lit a fire, they damn sure better have hot dogs with them! LOL
Nice, as always. Sorry we couldn't meet when you were up here.
Yeah Bryson, but I guess there's always next time. Thanks.
Great little project thanks for sharing
You got it. Thanks.
Love the charcoal forge Glenn, so similar to my setup
Now that I'm back in Taiwan, I need to find some good charcoal. Thanks.
With pleasure my friend 🙏
Thanks Dan.
Nice set of hooks Glen...
Thanks John.
Great looking
Thanks John.
Cool Hooks G.
A fun project item. I'll have another go at a variation of a grab hook. Thanks Tim.
Sure you're happy to be back home. No Bigfoot sightings while in our northwest???
I sure am glad to be home. Bigfoot sightings probably increased when my hairy body was traipsing through the woods. Thanks Ron.
That is a really nifty project!.
That heat n humidity oooffff.
Blessings aboundant
Crawford out 🙏⚒️🔥🧙🏼♂️
To go from the Pacific NW to Taiwan is a dramatic shift in humidity. Nasty stuff here but aching joints feel good from all the heat. Thanks.
Glen, can you tell me how much that small charcoal forge weighs? Did it fit okay in your suitcase? Thanks.
Hi Jack, it weighs 5 kilos or 11 pounds. Fit perfectly... Thanks.
It's a slip hook
Thanks for watching.
I like the style you chose, they are appealing to the eye. Was your trip to the States productive Glen ?
Hey Mike, My trip back was good. I couldn't do all I wanted but I got a whole lot done. I miss Stateside already but it's also good to be back at my usual routine. Thanks.
You always make it look so easy great work mate best wishes from Australia
Maybe it looks easy but I'm always learning. Thanks.
A poet but didn't know it.
That was purely accidental so yeah, I didn't know it. 😬
Nice hooks!
Thanks Rob.
Nice hooks Glen, need to make a few for myself as I do have a use for them! Somehow I seemed to miss these last few videos from the US, no idea why but no notification. i will check that! Thanks mate!
very nice
