    What's so funny is that watching this video was so much more helpful than in class, because he's straight to the point. My teacher is just spewing filler to take time while I can learn it from a random guy on youtube in 10 min and learn the same stuff as in class for an hour. In my experience in high school, most of the stuff you learn in class can be learned in 10 mins if you just search it on google. How come a 10 min video give as much information as my teacher who teaches it in an hour.

      well its been 2 months dont know of this’ll still be useful but when there’s a function with an x inside of some barrier (parentheses, absolute values etc.) then its always the opposite.
      think of it as being a liar almost.
      so for example y = (x-6) would shift 6 to the right because it has a negative symbol, so you do the opposite.
      jm pretty sure this is for EVERY kind of function not just absolute values.

    • @Jake-vl3ej
      @Jake-vl3ej 2 роки тому +1

      So, basically the equation to find the vertex is - b/m which is y intercept it over slope. In your example you would have - -3/1 which will make your x intercept +3.
