I'm definitely interested in cine lenses since I want everything I make to look cinematic. Also, "bokehlicious" is definitely going into my vocabulary!
So in your opinion, and experience, a cinematic look comes from shallow dof!??? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 you make me laugh. How about lighting, framing, composition, camera movement, meaning and symbolism? Context and much more…?
@@StoriesByJes2G babe, that lens doesn’t make the image more cinematic, cinematic is a word used to sell shit to gullible inexperienced people. A lens it’s a lens, some with more character than others. Some more expensive, and for a good reason. Cinematic is a combination of things not just the lens. It’s also de colour science, sensor an much more. A cine lens would not make your image cinematic 😂😂😂😂
Are you eyebrows controlled by a shortcut button on your camera? Or do you use one of the thumb wheels? Thanks for another great video I’m going to see if I can order some of these.
Hoi Mark, nice video as always, thank you .I have a question for you.I watch your comparison video between FX30 and 6700 I buy exactly on 26 august last year Sony a6600 without knowing that new cameras are coming.I buy also a ZV-E10 I don't do wedding videos or for job I just sold my Sony a6600 camera today and thinking between the FX30 and Sony a6700 1 card slot is fine with me. Please be honest:wich camera do you advise? I don't do many fotografie and what I do I always use the touch screen. I see that 6700 is neewer and have better autofocus but what I like of FX30 is the anamorphic filming and frame filming:that the camera follow you Please give me your honest opinion:wich one for in the studio filming and 1-2 hours in the month outside(I have vnd) filters Thank you
the fx30 doesn’t have the framing where the camera follows you. I’m not so sure how much you’ll use that if you had the a6700. but the fx30 has anamorphic modes and is a much easier camera to use for video and will never overheat and has a better screen. since you don’t do much photography, I would get the fx30. both cameras are great, but the fx30 is a better camera for video overall.
They are very different. These lenses should be used when you want to shoot professional short films or features and you need things like follow focus teeth. For regular video and photos, the fantastic sigma lenses will be better because they are awesome autofocus lenses
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis one last question brother, what do you think is the use case of these lenses(with fx30) for music videos? Or I’m better at autofocus lenses?
it will never look the same, really, but a black mist filter can definitely take the edge of the sharp photo lenses and I use photo lenses all the time for video because I really like autofocus 🤣
Are the lens manufactured in ChIna? It seems they are the Chinese manufacturer presenting themselves as a German manufacturer on their website. It seems pretty good quality on your shots. I don't find your mentioned peromotion on the website. Please advise. Thanks Mark.
Sirui is definitely Chinese - they aren’t trying to be German as far as I know - the name is Chinese and they always mention it in their literature. They do have a German and American Website as well as many other countries but German and American markets are huge for lenses so perhaps it’s the default site for your region. you have to go to the link I provided to get the promotion -
@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thank you very much for your reply. Also, I enjoy your video a lot. As we are in the same city, maybe we meet sometimes later to share our works. Do you get the demo model of the next 2 full frame cameras from Sony?
Hey Mark, i am just getting into videography, still pretty green! I want to start doing b-roll videos for rodeos and western culture and just pre ordered the a6700 (thanks to your review). Would you recommend these lenses for that? If not, what lenses would you recommend? Thanks, just subbed!
Man, I really want to take advantage of this early bird price but I can't decide if I want the 24 or 35mm. I have the ZV-E10, so either could work well for shooting events. Decisions!
I picked up the 24mm myself! I couldn't wait any longer. Loved the intro.
Awesome! Thank you!
WOW the light transition @0:14 was so dope! great demo of these lens' capability👊🏽

Still can't beat the value and versatility of Rokinon T1.5 EF lenses used with speedbooster on any super 35 mirrorless cameras

Nice lenses! Thanks for the heads up.
Any time!
Would you recommend these lenses for the ZVE10?
If you’re building a cinema rig - absolutely
Looks like they also give nice sunstars even from low apertures..
for sure - nice benefit!!

I reprogrammed all the buttons and dials to eyebrow shortcuts
Buen recorrido🤙
Ssup Mark! If you were to get only one of these, which one would it be?
the 24 because I shoot a lot of my video at that focal length
Not familiar with cine lenses, can I use them for photography??
You can - but they're all manual lenses - I would stick to autofocus lenses for photography
@@MarkBennettCameraCrisis Thank you so much! I usually manually focus even on af lenses lmao

Love these lenses. Thinking about 35mm T1.2 for my A7C (around 53mm in APSC mode) 🙂
No it’s still 35, you don’t need to compare it to full frame. You have aps c and then it’s just 35 and nothing else 🤣

I thought Canon put a stop to second party lenses for their cameras.
these are manual lenses - so canon can’t do anything about it.
