16mm w/55mm 16mm acts like 24 and is their widest lens 55mm acts like 82mm which is close to what cinematographers may use for close ups (85mm). You could go for any of their other options but I think you’ll find yourself too far spread out in capabilities.
I also don't like sony lenses' color. When i use old manuel lenses such as minolta or pentax on sony sensors, they look great and warmer. But sony lenses are like anemic. The are not as warm as other lenses. For post shooting color grading they may be useful but they can use better coatings for users like me. I want to see living results while shooting.
When i was doing handheld shooting, i never noticed it and that was with the active stabilisation on. However i’m not going to guarantee you won’t get any
@@isaacalgutria i suspect (may be wrong here) that it’s more to do with the camera body it’s on than the lens itself. For instance, the Canon R5 generally had horrific wobble but they did a firmware update and it’s much better
@@DannyBligh it would be an interesting test to do. Test out that anamorphic lens on different bodies and rank which one has it the worst. It would have to be the dedicated lens for that camera no adapters. It would be an expensive test
I have the 24mm and I'm very disappointed, it has a serious focusing problem, to havve infinity in focus, more like 10m+, I need to put on 5m. I couldn't find anyone talking about this issue and no UA-camr encountered this apparently.
@@REMY.C.not sure about this specific series of lenses but shimming could definitely work. However you ‘shouldn’t have to. I’d contact Sirui and see if they can help
Them colours are lovely. Does the lens naturally have that rich warm leaning tone?
I often contemplate the Saturn anamorphic series lenses lol
Yeah, it’s the same with the venus lenses too. As long as you nail your exposure, the image really comes to life
Sam nailed that electric guitar moves. 🤣🥰❤️ Hahaha
I already bought the 35mm for my Lumix S5, how I can change the black ring crop in the settings of the Lumix?
you go into settings and selec the APS-C crop mode, or you shoot in 4k 60, it will automatically crop in
which two to get first for art films and music videos? 16mm, 75mm, or one of the other three?!
What do you prefer?! I’d definitely go for two different looks like 16/24 paired with 55/75 but 🤷🏻♂️

Do you get a wobble effect using the lens?

@@DannyBligh yes I’ve been hearing different results

Could you try the 75mm on Orion nebula at t1.2? Mft

Oh wow, that’s definitely not something i’ve noticed with mine. So like the measurements and the focus plane are off?
@@DannyBligh yes exactly, very frustrating and I found no information on how to shim or calibrate. Very annoying.
