    I love audiomachine more than any big names. Audiomachine if you are reading this, I come from a country where such music is not in trend, no body knows you but I love your music and follow you, I carefully listen to every aspect of your songs, I try to mix my own compositions like your mixes and have abandoned manyyy if not all very catchy projects because they don't sound like you. You are my mentors I have never met or seen you still learn and follow your footsteps with my very limited knowledge. Please keep on doing great work.

      Unfortunately they arent popular anywhere. Such a shame

    • @Red_Fascist
      @Red_Fascist Рік тому +1

      Likewise. Unfortunately, the trends include poor rap or pop music about sex. But I haven’t listened to pop music for more than 10 years, I’m firmly hooked on neoclassical and epic music.

      @@mbathroom1 Well, they produce music for trailers and movies. They aren't just musicians who release albums for the public. They mainly do contract work. I guess within the industry they are somewhat known. The masses probably couldn't care less ^^. It's kinda sad that nowadays most people aren't really interested in the artists anymore. They like music but don't care about who made it. They have spotify or something similar and let the algorithm create a playlist they like, done. Nobody seems to have any attachment to bands or artists anymore like it was common during the rock, pop and metal era. Everybody knew Led Zeppelin, Queen. Freddy Mercury, Madonna, Michael Jackson, even when that wasn't your kind of music. The younger generations grow up with a weird mix of AI generated music and traditional music and they can't really distinguish them and don't really care. Every teen that just reached puberty is becomming a youtuber and is producing "music".

    • @Bunny99s
      @Bunny99s 5 місяців тому

      @@Red_Fascist I hear you :) Though there is still alot of great music out there. Probably more than ever. Though it's not really in the charts as there is simply too much. It's getting a lot more difficult to find the good stuff that fits your favourite genres. There has always been some bands which were more niche. Like Porcupine Tree (try the song "Trains"). They have been around for quite a long time but never really got that popular. It's a progressive rock band. Steven Wilson (the singer) also does a lot of solo work and works as a producer or remixer for many big well known bands like Yes, Roger Waters (Pink Floyd), Gentle Giant, The Who, Tears for Fears, Marillion, King Crimson, ... He's well known in the music industry but not really that famous to the public. Though progessive rock of course is somewhat a niche genre, but the borders are fluent.
      I listen to music from all genres. Some things I like, some I don't. My extended family has a wide range of genres and bands / artists they like. I pick and choose those things I like :) My mum is into reggae, salsa and pop. My aunt into rock and a bit of hard rock and metal (Joe Bonamassa, Metallica, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Gabriel, ...). My uncle is a bit older and introduced me to various bands (Procol Harum, Eric Burdon, Mike Oldfield, Boxtops, Dire Straits). My cousin is more into electronics and rap. My dad brought me to Jazz, rock and progressive rock (Yes, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Weather Report, Brand X, ...). My older sister always was into grunge, rock and alternative (Nirvana, Metallica, Porcupine Tree, Kasabian, Rage against the Machine, Tool, ...). Though there's a lot of overlap between us all. Even my mum who can't stand too loud music or "too much" electric guitar can appreciate some Metallica, at least the ballads :)
      For me I listen to almost everything. Though I do like Nightwish (old and new), Evanescence, Led Zeppelin, Tool and many more. I also like many pop tracks, though it's usually not my main focus. I always go through "phases". I do listen to Madonna from time to time, but you can't really listen to it right next to Gentle Giant :) you need to be in the right mood. Sometimes I go through movie or disney music. Crimson Tide, Jurassic Park, John williams in general. Some Loreena McKennit or Enya. Or some classical pieces. I really can enjoy "Ode to joy" when I'm in the right mood (especially a flash mob version).
      The great thing about music is, it's never really lost, it just piles on. You just have to pick what you like.

    • @Bunny99s
      @Bunny99s 5 місяців тому

      @@Red_Fascist Since you like this kind of music with slight celtic / irish influence, you may want to check out Loreena McKennitt's "huron beltan fire dance", but the version from the Al Hambra in spain:
      g1txiQT2opM
      She has a phantastic voice, but this is actually an instrumental piece and one of my favourite from her. Hugh Marsh is also a brilliant violinist and Tal Bergman is on the drums.

    @audiomachine:
    I've listened to the entire album Worlds of Wonder and I have to say I completely fell in love with it! It brought me into an incredible place from my childhood and its magic is so real and so wonderful. Every time I hear one of your songs it paints such a perfect and clear picture in my mind of amazing, impossible things, and it really brings my mind to life. Thanks so much for that!
    The only thing I would be picky about is that there are a few songs I would have liked a softer finale for. (Particularly Lullaby of the Siren and Dance of the Fireflies.) Sometimes, it's built up into this epic finale, but I think I was looking for something a little more gentle but beautiful. But don't get me wrong -- all the songs are amazing, you guys have so much talent. I'm particularly fond of Morningrise and North Pole Express. ^^ It's just that a few songs didn't play out the way I was hoping for.
    I hope you never stop writing music
