In my opinion, this is what the next Star Wars trilogy needs. True fans know that Star Wars is perhaps the saddest story in cinema history. The stories are flooded with brave hero’s, but hero’s who have tragic beginnings and in some cases, tragic endings. Songs like this one can really bring the story together.

It's amazing that people like Ivan Torrent, Thomas Bergerson, Nick Pheonix and John Dreamer can write pieces that can be very engaging from beginning to the end
I don't know why but every time I listen to this piece, it reminds me of life and that it usually starts easy then it gradually becomes hard. And every time it gets harder one have to just suck it up and go through it. Life continues to be that way till one go through the final stage which is the harshest and the most difficult to deal with(the last part of the track). And Eventually, everything returns back to normal like nothing happened. Some hits in the first part represent for me the bad choices/decisions we take and pay for. I love this track and I alwasy come back to it! I feel the same way about "When It All Falls Down"

A lone warrior fighting (In slow motion) against demons, vampires and undead of impossible numbers, with little more than a sword, his fist and his faith. To protect those few left of this small village, who are huddled together inside the church - half destroyed - praying with tears for help. Those few left who he cares for, those few left who will not suffer one more scratch so long as he still breathes. Near the end of the song, he's knocked down, and grasping to the last of his hope, he charges through the largest abomination, a towering beast with blood red skin, an axe to cleave castles in twain, bloodied horns, hooves and claws, and great wings that carry death upon them. He throws his sword at the demon, slashing into it's face, and while it's stunned, he jumps up to it's knee, boosts himself up to it's face and draws his sword once more, swinging around one of it's horns and driving his blade one last time into the back of this monsters neck, forcing the hellspawn forwards, off balance, and crashing into the only bridge across the cliff face to the church and the rest of the village that side. The beast crashes through the wooden bridge, and brings undead and demons down with it - and the lone warrior. Those few left, find their desperate prayers answered, the remaining demons and undead will not be able to make it across before the Kings army arrives, they are saved. But at the cost of the rest of the village, at the cost of the last warrior among them, a father, a son, a brother, a friend - the last holy crusader of theirs.

I don't know why but every time I listen to this piece, it reminds me of life and that it usually starts easy then it gradually becomes hard. And every time it gets harder one have to just suck it up and go through it. Life continues to be that way till one go through the final stage which is the harshest and the most difficult to deal with(the last part of the track). And Eventually, everything returns back to normal like nothing happened. Some hits in the first part represent for me the bad choices/decisions we take and pay for.

I write a lot of my stories using film score to direct/inspire/help me punch up the narrative. Trailer music by these fine folk, Thomas Bergersen, Two Steps From Hell and SO MANY OTHERS, helps me nail down chapter themes and character arc progression. A lone warrior fighting (In slow motion) against demons, vampires and undead of impossible numbers, with little more than a sword, his fist and his faith. To protect those few left of this small village, who are huddled together inside the church - half destroyed - praying with tears for help. Those few left who he cares for, those few left who will not suffer one more scratch so long as he still breathes.
Near the end of the song, he's knocked down, and grasping to the last of his hope, he charges through the largest abomination, a towering beast with blood red skin, an axe to cleave castles in twain, bloodied horns, hooves and claws, and great wings that carry death upon them. He throws his sword at the demon, slashing into it's face, and while it's stunned, he jumps up to it's knee, boosts himself up to it's face and draws his sword once more, swinging around one of it's horns and driving his blade one last time into the back of this monsters neck, forcing the hellspawn forwards, off balance, and crashing into the only bridge across the cliff face to the church and the rest of the village that side. The beast crashes through the wooden bridge, and brings undead and demons down with it - and the lone warrior.
Those few left, find their desperate prayers answered, the remaining demons and undead will not be able to make it across before the Kings army arrives, they are saved. But at the cost of the rest of the village, at the cost of the last warrior among them, a father, a son, a brother, a friend - the last holy crusader of theirs.
