The Widow Gibsons are very cool guitars, a green flame or quilt top is definitely on my short list of guitars I would like to get. Interesting that the PRS held tune better and had a tremolo. I have a few guitars that hold tune for days and others I constantly have to fuss with, the easier guitars I tend to like more. It is good to have a variety of guitars to choose from, it helps inspire me to pick up a different axe and get a new tone. Have you tried that new ToneX One?
I haven’t tried the tone X, I’ve never heard of that. What is it? Yes man! I love my widow, all the different colours are so cool. Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed
@@squealingpigguitars2438 The ToneX One is a tiny little pedal, only $179 and it does all the modeling amp/cab captures that everyone seems to be sharing, I am only looking into it atm, it has been released for a few months, it looks like a cool little al in one idea, especially if you gig and need to be mobile.
Honestly I couldn’t turn down either. Both a killer. As a guy that owns a couple Gibson Les Paul’s, a R8 and a November burst, if you made me take one home it would be the Tremonti. Oh and yea I am a Tremonti fan boy. If I had to be picky I would get the Tremonti with the Stoptail. I would be curious the tone difference. I’ve never been a trem fan.
Both sounded great. I like nonstandard colors and the more vintage tone of the Gibson, so I prefer the greenie, but I wouldn't kick the PRS out of the amp jack.
Both absolutely mega! Would personally go for the gibson with bare knuckles in (mine has cold sweats in currently and it rips, them pickups were made for them geetars) not to say I'd turn down a Tremonti as that is a lovely looking geetar I'd just want to stick a set of sunbears in there to finish the look and tweak the sound :) If you're having tuning stability troubles on the Gibson give Rob a call/message at RHGuitars in Derbyshire, hes worked wonders on mine and builds some mighty nice geetars too, in fact i think hes still got a very nice carved top single cut in as stock at the min :) Anywho... Some blinding playing again sir and them tones... damn!
@@AnimalJohn85 thanks mate!! Yea I love my widow but I’ve been battering it for last 5 years so it’s in a good need of a service. I’m definitely getting it looked at by someone soon, thanks for recommendations and for watching the video. Which Les Paul do you have? Cheers man 🤟
@@squealingpigguitars2438 as you should sir tis a grand ode beasty :) With any luck it'll be something quick n painless for you, it really is an awesome geetar though the colour alone is somethin else :) If I remember rightly its one of those trad pro 2's from around 2011ish? (Ill have to look at headstock to confirm year) in tobacco burst. First thing I did was strip the stock pups out for some rebel yells but its had a lot of different ones in it since. Finally put the cold sweats in and did a ton of wiring (parallell on both, coil split on neck only and the phase shift) were a lot of swearing but it sounds ace. Had Rob refret it since it had developed the dreaded gap between nib n fret, now nibless it plays divine and with an unbleached bone nut looks the dogs danglies. Can highly recommend the gotoh locking tuners on your les paul, replaced the grovers on mine with some, still got the keystone buttons but so mucb smoother and stable since, if i remember rightly they werent the 510 they were they ones below them. 😁
My only problem with PRS is that headstock. The design is completely disconnected to the rest of the guitar esthetic wise. It's looks like it belongs on a metal Schecter.
Great comparison and great playing!
@@kaustubhdutt6167 thanks!
I own a Les Paul and a PRS custom 24 ...................I think PRS wins .......great playing dude ..... thanx !!....oh ....excellent job on video
Thanks for watching

Thanks!

Thanks for commenting man! yea the Tremonti really shocked me, it's an incredible sounding and playing guitar. They're very different beasts tho
That gibson looks so much like a PRS!
🤟🤟🤟
Both dream guitars you can do anything you want with.

The difference.... One stays in tune and the other doesn't. I prefer staying in tune.
Tremonti seemed to be more punchy? Low end?
Both nice.
That Green widow needs an ebony board... so bad. 🤣
@@johnbach2380 thanks for watching mate!
I like the prs
Tremonti it is the winner for my needs in my opinion. Tremolo and stays in tune… it’s a win for prs
birds......
Such a sick comparison honestly. I vote les Paul tho thing is gangster 🔥🔥
Thank you so much man! Les Paul FTW!!
PRS has a better headstock, but I'll take the Gibson every time.
🤟🤟
Both awesome guitars, but as a Gibson fanboy I’d be taking that widow home 😂
