THE LARGEST SWELL OF WINTER 2023 ROLLS THOUGH WAIMEA BAY

Quite often overlooked, criticized, and shadowed by places like Mavericks, Pe'ahi, and Nazare nowadays. Waimea Bay is still the home of Big Wave Surfing and the most prestigious Big Wave Competition in the world. The Eddie Aikau Invitational don't get it twisted. When the bay calls, the entire valley is transformed into a giant Amphitheater where at least 50,000 spectators from throughout Hawai'i and the world watch a select group of the Men and Women Big Wave Surfers compete.
