This really shows how dead bodyboarding is. I remember watching these windy sessions and tonnes of bodyboarders on it. No one bodyboards anymore, reason is the boards absolutely suck with the quality of foam and the board companies are just ripping everyone off knowing the boards are absolute crap and cost around 600 Australian dollars. What a fkn joke. Plus the guys who sell the boards are like the kooks who never made it in the sport but are still trying their best with no one really caring or watching. It's an absolute shame. But who wants 50 boogers out at every break. What's better heaps of surfers or heaps of boogers .

I had a similar experience in a community pool one summer when I was a child about her age. The pool was packed, busy, loud - very similar to what you see here. I could swim but not very well yet. I remember going under the water to grab a toy and it felt like someone jumped in the water on top of me while I was under. It scared me and I panicked. Thankfully I was playing with 3 of my cousins and we were taught the buddy system. One of my cousins was a competition swimmer and she noticed that I didn’t surface and immediately helped me up. It is mind boggling just how fast a drowning can occur. The buddy system saves lives - it saved mine that day. Teach it every chance that you get.

Paid for a tour to visit pipeline recently…when you get there they tell you coaches are not allowed to stop and you drive on by with just a glance out the window wondering which house is Jaime O’Briens. The $120 J walking ticket I got in Waikiki was a wonderful souvenir.tooThey obviously hate tourists. Thanks for showing me what I didn’t get to see.
