@@PhoenixForce85 I love that you and your husband are so passionate about the series. How did this whole thing come about? Did Bioware ask fans to send in a video about why they love Mass Effect, and then chose a handful for this video? Did they let you know that you 'won?'
@@iceman00behave That’s a good question. I had posted about our Mass Effect Wedding on Reddit about 4 years ago. Early this year, we were contacted by our wedding photographer, who is also a gamer, that EA Games reached out to her and they were hoping to get ahold of us. I assume they saw the photos where I credited her as the photographer. We reached out to the email they sent her and they arranged for us to do an interview for a fan tribute video they were putting together. We just found out a couple days ago we were going to be in the final cut.
No game has ever given me chills like the first time talking to Sovereign in ME1, No game has ever filled me with the anxiety I felt with the suicide mission in ME2 and wondering if my crew would all survive. And no game left me shaking and in tears like a certain moment in ME3. (Someone else might have gotten it wrong.)
I just finished the whole series, this is not a game this is a whole inspiration to everyone who plays Mass Effect, it has Love, friendship, hardships and as some one who experienced hardships this really resonates with me.
I hope to meet all of you one day, because any fellow N7 crew member will always have a friend in me. Also this trailer almost brought me to tears. So freaking excited!
I tried to convince my wife to name our daughter "Natalie Zorah" (Tali for short), but she shot down my idea. This is what happens when you don't invest in the upgraded armor plating.
I actually think that name's alright. But ngl, naming your kid Garrus is awkward. Maybe you shouldn't have a mentioned that the name comes from a videogame.
So honored to be a part of this video!!!! I am crying with gratitude and love for Mass Effect, can't tell how much it changed my life. Thanks to the teams that made this possible and brought us so much joy through our Mass Effect journey
Hello there! can you tell us what was such a dedicated fan's opinion on Andromeda? With the Mass Effect 4 trailer from BioWare it seems like even they kind of admit that they let us all down and with those promotional materials for the remaster it kind of feels like they are completely on-board the "let's pretend Andromeda didn't happen" train
Mass Effect is what gave me my passion for RPGs. It has my favorite story with the most loving characters. There is no game I am happier to have played.
this game has been there for me through so much ... through a bought of lymes disease, transferring jobs, my father's passing and quarantine and has always felt like coming home to me. my only regret is not getting into the series sooner, I started in 2016 and have run through countless playthroughs (almost always renegade!) and can't even begin to really express just what this world and characters mean to me. thank you so much for this game and bringing it back for all of us veterans to experience again and I'm so excited for the new wave of fans to enjoy this beautiful trilogy of games.
After years in an abusive relationship, Mass Effect helped me re-learn that *I* can make decisions, that we can define ourselves by what we choose and how we act.
@@iceman00behave thank you! Yes I did, it was my first ever full armor build and I learned how to make cosplay armor just because I wanted to be Shepard so bad
My young son is going to be playing this with his dad and I watching. He's going to LOVE Wrex! So amazing that the next generation is going to grow up with ME. Thank you, we love Mass Effect so much!
Every time I was in a hard spot in life mass effect helped me escape my worries and problems. They put so much care into the world, characters, and lore that it’s so easy to get lost in that world.
It was my FIRST story-connecting-through-the-games RPG and I remember just playing, and thinking about making sure these people following me into DEATH were well taken care of and trusted me as I grew to trust them. It was only after I did my first playthrough, with only story-mandatory deaths, did I realize you COULD get people like Wrex killed early on, or have deaths in the suicide mission. I was able to keep them safe like they kept me safe and that was GUT-WRENCHING to me. I truly was able to be a trustworthy commander and grew to have this amazing family of diverse peeps. Man, 12 yr old me was deep in the feels when I beat ME3 and found that out.
Mass Effect is one of the greatest trilogies of anything, right up there with The Lord Of The Rings and The Dark Knight trilogy. As far as space operas are concerned, I've yet to come across anything that took me to such imaginative places. What an emotional journey what a ride, Shepard and crew... real heros till the end. So excite
For me it's the characters, your crew - they go on these missions with you and you all grow together, you just feel genuine love and pride for them and their accomplishments, it's such a rich and emotional journey.
Major goosebumps watching this. By far the best video game series ever. Despite the fact that I've played this so many times I lost count, I look forward to playing it again (and again?).
Mass Effect saved my life, without it in my life I would never had met the love of my life. Thank you EA and BioWare for keeping me alive through all my hard times. I can’t wait to relive this another time and play it over and over. Had been in a very dark mindset for a very long time, wanted to do so many things to myself, and then I found this series. I played up until 2, this was before the third game was announced and I wanted more of it. Thank you again to the team that made this game.
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this video! Currently having a little happy cry but words cannot express how excited I am to get back into this
I’ve just finished playing through the games for the first time on the legendary edition got to say it was such an amazing ride definitely one of my favourite game series I’ve played
Seriously, how does this not have millions of views. This is incredible. Mass Effect is really something special in the gaming world. Not every game when you load it up again after years away, then suddenly get giddy when you see someone like Garrus and Tali as if you're seeing an old friend again after a long time.
Mass effect was always my place. It was the story that never dulled over time, so replaying it was bothersome. The characters all have weight to them ,even if they weren't very deep in backstory they all had an impression on you. The weapons, the skill, the tactics, the fights all of it made me feel good. The enemies had skills and had real power which forced you to watch your actions. Now, at the end of July this year I lost my father, a good man, my best friend and closest family member, and the support in my life, for a while I was broken beyond belief, one day I just put ME: Legendary edition on and started playing, slowly the trilogy that helped me through my teenage years was helping over the loss of a family member and I will always be thankful for mass effect for that.
I remember playing Mass Effect 2 on my PS3. I never felt so in love with video game characters like I did with Mass Effect. They all just felt so real and they were like my friends. Especially, my love Tali 🥰
HAHA u gotta give a raise to the person(s) that thought this video out. Such a great marketing strategy, and truly moving. Mass Effect has such a place in my heart this made me emotional !
I played the first Mass Effect game when I was 10, and it was an incredible journey. Now I’m 20, lot of things changed in my life but I’m sure that my love for this trilogy will never end
We were talking about release day tomorrow in a team meeting at work, and I was trying to explain how excited, little apprehensive, nostalgic, happy I was feeling - and one of my colleagues described it perfectly: "it's like going home years after you've moved away". Tomorrow - we're going home 🙂
The Mass Effect Trilogy is and always will be one of my favourite gaming franchises of all time. ME2 to this day is still my favourite game ever. Can’t wait for delivery of my copy of the LE tomorrow. Here’s hoping for more ME games for many years to come!
Mass Effect was the first sci fi RPG I ever played and loved. Before I used to think that all this space sci fi games, films, books, etc. were all just super nerdy stuff and I thought i was too cool for it 😂. My friend was an Xbox 360 guy so he was already familiar with the franchise. As a PS3 guy, i had no clue about it. My friend kept telling me about the series in between college classes. Finally the ME2 demo came out and my friend pestered me to get it. I played it and it caught my interest. Ended up buying the game full price and FELL IN LOVE with the franchise. I would read the lore on websites, read fan forums, etc. I WAS HOOKED!!! When ME1 came out on PS3 my head exploded and immediately bought it. ME3 was announced and my friend were HYPED! We ended up actually going to the midnight launch at GameStop. First time i ever stayed up late and waited for a game. Talked to a bunch of fans that night waiting in line compared choices and classes. Thanks to Mass Effect, I embraced sci fi nerd culture and it lead to me looking into other sci-fi series. Now I'm the biggest space sci fi nerd. 😂 The Mass Effect Trilogy will always have a special place in my heart.
I doubt that half of them even played the game. Especially the first guy...wtf is *wgghjggfrggh* And *agressive combat*? That's the best they have? EA has long since become a shit show
I am feeling very lucky right now that I have never played a Mass Effect game. I don't know how or why I missed it but I never found a good time to jump into it, especially as a huge RPG/Bioware fan. I heard about the legendary edition launch and was extremely excited that I can now experience the entire franchise all at once. Tomorrow, I will be starting what I have heard to be a wonderful journey, from a completely fresh perspective. It will take me some time to play through but I am super excited.
When my friend introduced me to this series nearly a decade ago, I didn't think much of it, but I stood with it and kept playing, then I got to Virmire and I realised what the hype was about with this game and was hooked every since.
Love this! Mass Effect has gotten me through a lot of tough times in my life…and will always be a part of it. Playing through the Legendary Edition on next gen as we speak, and it’s incredible! Mad love to my Mass Effect family 🤟❤️
The gay guy talking about how he could be gay in Mass Effect but not in real life was exactly what I went through. I never thought anyone would ever recognize the struggle that I and many lgbt people went through back in our past. Games were a way of accepting who we are when everyone around us told us we were somebody else. Thank you for being one of the first game franchises to give this hope to us that we found nowhere else
Mass effect helped me through a difficult time in my life. I’m happy to see people who love it just as much if not more than I do. I’m even more happy that a new generation of gamers can play the trilogy.
Thank you for making my childhood amazing, growing up and playing the first game when i was very young and playing the rest of the games as the years went by! Cant wait to play this in all of its glory❤️
I'm probably a bit older than most of the people who really love ME, and I didn't get into it until late 2019 when I found it on sale for next to nothing. I'm a bit older, probably more settled and maybe more secure than the folks leaving their story here. I don't have the "Mass Effect helped me through a tough time," 10-years of nostalgia connection to it, though seeing and hearing those stories is fantastic. That all said, I've been playing RPGs of all sorts for almost 35 years, and I'm a bit of an empath. It's easy to see how ME could impact so many people for so many different reasons in so many different ways. The sincerity of the stories of the community is touching, and impossible for me not to feel. That sincerity can only happen, that connection that people feel to it can only be accomplished with a masterfully told story. Whether it's a player's connection with a companion, or a sense of accomplishment for completing a difficult mission, or something as fundamental as representation and seeing a hero that looks and thinks and feels like you, there's something in it for everybody. And that's why the community can exist. It's a beautiful thing.
Legitimately crying now, Mass Effect has been suck a huge part of my life, it inspired my online persona. I can't wait to come back to streaming after a year with the Legendary edition.
In my opinion, best game ever and my favorite. I remember, when it launched, that I was like a kid during Xmas day and became so immersed in the universe plus the story.

If they loved the series so much, then they would show tolerance towards their fellow fans. A tolerance like the kind that can be found in Mass Effect's 22nd century. It's so frustrating, but I guess you just have to ignore people like that, you know? Regardless of what anyone says or thinks about me or this incredible community, I will always love Mass Effect and admire how much it has affected many peoples' lives.
Sorry for the long reply lol
Mass Effect has been such a major part of my life. It got me through the hardest days of my worst years because I asked myself "What would Shepard do?" I day in and day out thank you Bioware. You showed me through a fictional character that a hero can literally come from anyone. I love you all so damn much.
I can totally feel that. When I started the trilogy back then I was starting to go through depression, and it helped me a lot escaping my problems. Mass Effect has a TRUE meaning for a lot of people 🙏🏻❤️🙌🏻
At the end of Mass Effect 3 I felt something very strange. For a long time, I didn't know what it was, but now, I have figured it out.
Homesickness.
Ahhh this made me cry! I was so happy to be a part of this project. We were the nerds who put Mass Effect into our wedding.
Honey you are not a part of the project just a screw in this eveil marketing scam that corporations like ea are pulling of by fucking up a studio with a great talent when every thing else has failed they are gonna cash in on the nostalogia high of people who think the world hasn't gone balistically apocalptic and they can hide in thier white bubble pretending everything's fine.
White bubble? I’m middle eastern with family we are trying to help leave a country that is currently collapsing.
@@PhoenixForce85 well looks like I found another reason to call you and your husband legends
"can't wait to get back" I never left.
Same. I'm very sad there's no MP. I'd never need to play any other game again.
Can’t wait to get back into this amazing universe
I hope to meet all of you one day, because any fellow N7 crew member will always have a friend in me. Also this trailer almost brought me to tears. So freaking excited!
As a crewmember since the SR-1, I salute you. It's good to be back.
@@iceman00behave So good to be back. Getting a Normandy tattoo soon.
Been wanting this since 2015 and it comes out tomorrow on my 25th Birthday. Thank you, BioWare! Happy Birthday to me!
Happy bday man! ;3
Happy Birthday 🎂
It's a pretty interesting feeling isn't it? It's coming out for my 30th. I very much appreciate the Bday present, Bioware.
@Ian Mayer Happy 26th Birthday, dude.
@@fragchef477 Happy early 30th Birthday, dude.
I tried to convince my wife to name our daughter "Natalie Zorah" (Tali for short), but she shot down my idea. This is what happens when you don't invest in the upgraded armor plating.
It would have been a beautiful name... But no offense on the actual one.
Sounds like you should've put more points into either charm or intimidate.
I actually think that name's alright. But ngl, naming your kid Garrus is awkward.
Maybe you shouldn't have a mentioned that the name comes from a videogame.
@Dennis Cadieux wdym
Wait that’s actually so cute n clever
You just won my heart with this video. I'm not crying. At all.
There was literally nothing happening on screen to cause me to tear up and it STILL got me. Love this game so much.
Mass Effect community is my favorite in gaming, so welcoming, positive people, a joy to be a part of such a great group 😊
AGH Why am I actually crying this is sweet as fuck. All love.
It's nice knowing this game touched other people this much. Makes me feel normal :)
Ah, this is enough to make a grown man cry! I am so ready!
I just turned 37, I'm not crying... You're crying 😢...
I'm not crying. You are crying
I am.
Almost lol
I am indeed!!
I am indeed ❤️
Thank you so much for including me in this video and in this community, it's been an honor.
Congrats! Did you make the camo armor yourself?
@@iceman00behave thank you! Yes I did, it was my first ever full armor build and I learned how to make cosplay armor just because I wanted to be Shepard so bad
mass effect has helped me through so much in life. i am so excited for tonight. ♡
Mass Effect was a journey that showed who I really was when i had to make choices.
So excite
The music hits so hard as it is the end and the beginning of everything.
It is really so fcking emotional...
Mass effect left a huge impression on me. Not only did it change the way I looked at video games but it also reignited my love for sci-fi.
Currently having a little happy cry but words cannot express how excited I am to get back into this
i just found this. i have been playing every day since it came out and I am halfway through the trilogy so halfway through me2. astonishingly good!
So hyped for this!!
Watching this as i got 22 minutes left to play. Beautiful man i can't wait to replay this amazing series
I can't begin to explain how I felt when I first played and completed this trilogy. It was unlike anything I've experienced before.
The Mass Effect Trilogy will always have a special place in my heart.
You know what? Sometimes bullies are necessary at school... Wtf is this people, i love the game but I'll stay the hell away from these people.
I doubt that half of them even played the game.
Especially the first guy...wtf is *wgghjggfrggh*
And *agressive combat*?
That's the best they have?
EA has long since become a shit show
I am feeling very lucky right now that I have never played a Mass Effect game. I don't know how or why I missed it but I never found a good time to jump into it, especially as a huge RPG/Bioware fan. I heard about the legendary edition launch and was extremely excited that I can now experience the entire franchise all at once. Tomorrow, I will be starting what I have heard to be a wonderful journey, from a completely fresh perspective. It will take me some time to play through but I am super excited.
Mass Effect will always have a special place in our hearts💗
the remaster is gorgeous! THANK YOU!
cant wait for remaster
The most emotionally invested game series I have ever played. Glorious.
0:55 Me encanta que sepan que el fandom de Mass effect se extiende por todo el mundo.
PREPARADÍSIMO PARA EL REMASTER!!!!
When my friend introduced me to this series nearly a decade ago, I didn't think much of it, but I stood with it and kept playing, then I got to Virmire and I realised what the hype was about with this game and was hooked every since.
A glance of our future! 😍😊😍
This series SAVED MY LIFE. Thank you, BioWare, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Man that line "to inspire a whole new generation" is the best fucking line of this year, here's to mass effect 🍻
Mass effect helped me through a difficult time in my life. I’m happy to see people who love it just as much if not more than I do. I’m even more happy that a new generation of gamers can play the trilogy.
Love this game it gives me hope an happyness thank you mass effect for the good memories an story☺💜
OMG this made me cry !! I can’t wait for playing this marvellous story.
So many memories.
ok, this hit me hard
Thank you for making my childhood amazing, growing up and playing the first game when i was very young and playing the rest of the games as the years went by! Cant wait to play this in all of its glory❤️
Wanted to give a shoutout to that Mordin cosplay! The face was amazing!
They are the very model of a salarian cosplayer. :-)
@@allthingsnerd.4484 I came pretty close to buying a Gilbert & Sullivan box set today, can't think of many games that would cause that to happen
I love you all! This is so wholesome, I can't wait for this! I hope everybody has a fantastic time tomorrow! keelah se'lai!
wholesome af!
Legitimately crying now, Mass Effect has been suck a huge part of my life, it inspired my online persona. I can't wait to come back to streaming after a year with the Legendary edition.
It's been so long since I played the trilogy, imma start crying man😭
I got N7 with the Renegade Star on my leg. Nice to know I was not the only one to get inked with some Mass Effect.
Hablo español, y tengo que decir que Mass Effect ha sido el juego que mas me ha encantado en mi vida
Playing through this right now. Let me tell you…Mass Effect 1 looks SO good. What an upgrade!
Anyone know the music?
I’d love to know
i've watched this 6 times in a row and now i'm crying. i love these games.
Please, someone give me this song. I love it.
In my opinion, best game ever and my favorite. I remember, when it launched, that I was like a kid during Xmas day and became so immersed in the universe plus the story.
Pls Name music?
"I've always admired Commander Shephard because I can make her like me" what a narcissistic comment lmao
