If the story is excellent it will be a success, gameplay and graphics can be refined but they must get the story and lore right if it’s to become a franchise like Mass Effect. From what I’ve seen so far it is looking good and the book by Peter Hamilton was great and gives the world a sense of scale and lays out the factions. Can’t wait!
Of course it will. The people that make Exodus are the OG veterans of Bioware. In comparison, current day Bioware is political activists, not good writers and most of the old developers have left
The game has the potential that anything that could stand his way is bad writing and poor time of development. Or, it can be the new studio this game is being published that requires the necessary funds to make the game.
No, no it won't be better than Mass Effect. Several reassons as to why. 1. I'm nearly 100% sure that what they're doing is starting out with the mechanics from ME3 and streamlining those as much as they can. Big red flag in terms of mechanical roleplaying. 2. WOTC is the publisher. They haven't done anything other than streamline and devalue D&D for over a decade now. 5e is nothing more than a pared down 3.5e. 3. WOTC is owned by Hasbro. Hasbro, much like WOTC is very much all for "Veilguarding" all their properties, in fact, it's part of their mission statement. 4. The last interesting work of note that Karpyshyn has had a writing credit for is Anthem in 2019. The last positively reviewed work he's done is from 2015, that's nearly 10 years ago now. Needless to say I have nearly 0 expectation for this game to be of any value whatsoever and my expectations are very tempered.
These are all fair points. I think mass effect fans like me are just sick and tired of bioware fucking up, and at this point, we'd rather go for an alternative over the next installment in that dead series. Bioware has shown time and again since basically ME3 that they don't give two shits about the fans (w/ the exception of the Citadel DLC)
As a gamer myself who loves the mass effect games Exodus will be great it has the same science fiction elements the same kind of companions the mass effect games had which was my all time favorite part the difference will be yes exodus will drop ether 2025-2026 while the next mass effect games will be an exclusive on the next generation gaming console my guess would be 2028 because of mass effect being in development longer however I believe both games will be winners Exodus wins by picking up us mass effect fans and mass effect wins because they will gain the Exodus fans and who knows both games could be connected more than we know in ways we have not discovered yet
First Discussion Video, Yes Audio Is not great in parts.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Also yes.

I agree, Bioware is just an empty shell after EA replaced them top to bottom with activist clowns.

Calling it now, the next Mass Effect will be pure garbage.
After Veilguard... Yeah, I think Exodus will be much better.
if mass effect gets to release maybe but no reason for me to check both out.
keep mic further from the mouth
