This area of Colorado doesn't get heavy snow until March-May. Additionally, it's so dry here that snow sometimes flashes from frozen to vapour through a process called sublimation. So, we can get snow, but not much turns to water and goes into the ground. We have desert plants that don't all hold water. We're on the edge between the plains and high mountains. Lots of reasons we get forest fires here.
PRAYERS to ALL ❤ From Iowa 😢

Chriskent helio love you 😍 ❤ 😘 ♥ 💖 💕 😍
Noooo it’s too early in the year for the hills to catch I don’t want to hike yet!!!! 😂😂😂
I thought Colorado gets a lot of snow.
Snow melts fast and can come back fast…especially in Colorado so what are you getting at? It’s common sense people. Winter is dry too btw
Snow volume varies in Colorado year to year. Western Colorado has above normal snow volume and is soon to receive a couple more feet.
@freedomforever6718 thank you for explaining.
