I'm keen to hear your feedback! This wont get in the way of normal content as Amie is doing the editing for me, so it's just bonus PoE gameplay :)
The Build I'm playing is going to be a Cold Damage Over Time Occultist most likely using Vortex and Cold Snap - my Passive Tree plan for Path of Building is here: pastebin.com/7... Levelling tree now included that includes life before you swap to CI

I love this style of video. I'm able to pause and come back to it later without missing out on anything in a way that twitch doesn't allow. Any poe content creator that has done this type of thing I have watched!

Thank you for posting this as a playlist. As a brand new player I have found this very helpful. There are so many mechanics to learn and it can be overwhelming at first and having someone go thorough leveling and explain mechanics has been super helpful.
I like this. Watching one part, then playing it myself, watching next part, play it myself, and so on...

Your my favourite streamer for league starts because you take things slow and listen to the dialogue. I take forever to level so I just skip everything and listen to your VODs for the dialogue and your thoughts on everything, also since I don't follow poe news it helps that you try to explain new mechanics

Super hyped for the playthrough! I rarely get to make it to stream, so this is just more good, good content I want.

I've done a cold snap occultist 2 leagues in a row.. It was just barely viable for endgame, then..... Now that its been buffed so many ways it should be a reliable end game build. I highly recommend dual void battery. you dont even need to care about the crit, either.
With the cold DoT support and the new Vortex changes I think we wont really even need to build like a traditional cold snapper, just keep up the DoT and use Vortex as well and well not even be bothered by the cooldown on bosses (and clearing sustains itself with the Frenzy charges). Going to be interesting to see how it goes!
@@ZiggyDGaming Oh, I was never doing anything "traditional" with my build...At least, not as far as I could find a guide that seemed similar to what I was doing. I was using dual Void Battery and Fully leaning into power charges for sustain with the Unique Jewel that converts. I leveled with cold snap as soon as I got the gem, and it was fairly smooth going at most points, especially with the assistance of frost bomb. This league, I'm leveling a shattering steel champion as my first character, but I'm going with the cold snap occultist at some point again. Vortex wont even be necessary this league, but it will certainly be more dps, that's a given. Also, you really want to get ahold of a "Star of Wraeclast" if you get a chance. It's super fun with this build.
Keith Winget vortex is super fast for mapping. The instant cast along with curses and profane bloom, everything just dies when you do vortex.
Ohhh... That was a juicy one, exile!
Im new to path of exile, I didn't like it at first because the skill tree looked oof as hell, but this guide on betrayal has really helped me! please continue until maps :)))))))

I have been playing for like 10 seasons now but I always liked figuring things out on my own so I never really "learned" the meta. So I'm very curious to watch you progress from the beginning and learn how to progress quickly, as well as how to make a few bucks in the market which I have never actually been able to do

yeah, we'll just get some life and spell damage for levelling then respec for CI

I just started a new game with a friend who's never played before. When we got to act 2, Einhar was there. We did the initial quest for 5 creatures, but he doesn't sell any more capture items (or anything at all).
We're playing on standard so I don't know why he even showed up. I don't know what to do with this guy. Suggestions?
He, Nika and Alva are Masters in standard now. You don't need to buy nets, he captures the monsters for you. Talk to him in Act 2 town and you'll get access to the Menagerie where you can craft things with the Blood Alter. Hope that helps!

Just realized that they lvl up and gain exp when they die, why do they get the opposite of us? That isn't fair lol.
haha yeah, I guess that's the benefit of their style of immortality - I guess our immortality comes with a price.
How do you stay entertained by the game i have 3500 hours in poe and i am just bored. What makes you keep playing it?
Every three months the game gets a ton of new things to explore and discover. In addition to a core gameplay loop I really enjoy it's hard for other games to compete with that for me.

@@TheAndrewc5120 breach was the best league it was so much better than the leagues before and id say every league that followed except this one. Betrayal is better than breach.

Idiot missed the first easy quest-chain transport encounter on the Fetid Pool because of running so fast but he wonders "where is my syndicate encounter?" being alrady on the Ledge....
