- Today we decided to pick up some homeware bits and essentials and also go CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!!! wooooo! Who's excited for Vlogmas? I know I am! I'm going to try and get Matt to put those Christmas lights up on our house on the 1st of December to kickstart vlogmas and I'm so excited!!

My Boyfriend (Matt Gibbs) films the cinematic shots for me on my main camera (sony a7s ii) and edits those parts of the vlog for me

I’m pretty sure you can get paint to paint over the stone on your fireplace, like fire/heat resistant! or paint similar to ‘tile paint’ that may cover it for the time being 🤗 loving these vlogs! xxx

You can get the vinyl adhesive stickers for your fire place from range, I had a Mable style one for my kitchen worktop x

Get some mirrored tiles off ebay to stick over the marble, you can get brick shape, hexagon shape, subway tiles.

Should use fabalon on the grate. I used a white marble affect on mine and it looks so much better! So cheap and easy to do too! I got mine from wilkos for like £4 maybe cheaper! I would highly recommend it! And happy new home!! 🏡❤️

I have a Siamese cat and he doesn't stop talking the same as sky! He's like my shadow and will follow me everywhere, it's adorable! I think sky is so lovely and yes! She defiantly want attention haha!

The sticker is heat resistant and you can get it from any wallpaper paint shop
The stickers work really well I’ve used it on my desk x
You could try marble contact paper for the fireplace. If that doesn't work with the heat you could find some of that spray paint peant for fireplaces, it withstands heat, and paint it gray

We have long rolls of vinyl where i work, B&m😁 lots of colours to choose from. We do white marble which i think would look prefect😍😍 dont worry about it getting hot when your fires on.. ive done mine exactly the same & not had a problem with it xx

Hi Roxy and Matt just a suggestion but have you thought about tiling the fireplace as tiles will resist heat and you then have full choice over your design with countless possibilities of tiles. cheaper than getting another fireplace xxx

Try the Milan defuser from next home! It's my favourite scent ever & is so strong (but in a nice way not over powering) I have the largest size in my room & the whole floor smells of it! It's amazing x

Get a feliway cat room diffuser spray. Should just help to calm her down with all the changes that are going on at the moment. And maybe a big cat tree with a scratch post x
The vinyl sticker is called fablon, you can get it from bnq Wilkinson’s eBay etc x
Vinyl sticker might be a problem with a warm from fireplace but a few tiles might do the job! with sanding the stone etc just search ore there is plenty DIYs on the internet.
