The announcer is Chuck Marlowe and he is accompanied by Bob Luce. Marlowe was also the announcer for Indiana University Basketball, and Luce promoted Chicago for the Bruiser's WWA.
Carpentier was long past his prime here, but still able to give and take it like champ...

What year is this? They talk about Carpentier about being young and upcoming but I'd assume this was late 60's which would make Carpentier at least a 10 year pro.

BaronTurco Late 60's,actually. Circa 1969. People who watched this as a kid as I did still talk about this. Great this tape survived.

Carpentier didn't have much left when this match took place.He was clearly struggling against Eskew.A pity since he was once an excellent performer.
It was probably his 2nd or third match that day, since they usually taped several matches in one taping.
