This is what happens when you get a real fan to make the MV. It's like every scene is packed with fan favorite references. Even the credits convey so much character in every silhouette and walk. Every expression and gesture is lore accurate. My personal favorite is Bae reading the map upside down and IRyS chewing her out for getting them lost, lol. I would buy merch made from any frame, no cap. And the song! A nod to Evan Call and Frieren to set the mood, then they make it their own. Absolute magic!

I appreciate the art consistency. Sometimes animation studios draw Hololive too different from their original art but this one was 100% consistent and it's awesome.

From the fact that Fauna's foot gets a whole scene to itself (I see you animators), to the idea that Kronii side-eyeing the Kronies and Boros in the window and just walking past them is as on-brand as her getting excited seeing them, IRyS being a Dragon Ball character while everyone else has melee weapons, or to Mumei looking into space and thinking to herself "I'm gonna get me that Moon". This was so beautifully done! The score, the animation, the imagery, all top notch. I got into Hololive when IRyS and Council debuted, so seeing Promise depicted so wonderfully means a lot. Promise forever! 🤎💜❤💚💙
First impressions; the Animation was really way beyond what I was expecting and could easily pass as an Anime Opening. At the same time it does managage to reference and show a lot, some of it very obvious but also a lot that is rather subtle. Same as the Animation the Song itself does invoke the feelings of a adventure to come but also the times shared together thus far. On that note I was not expecting the song to be in english, that was a great surprise as well. Everyones voices working really well both in the solo as well as the shared lines, even if they don't always match 100% with the Animation at that point in the song. Totally showing just how far all of you have come not only on your own but also now together as Promise. Really, a big THANK YOU to you 5 for giving us this Promise. 💜💚💙🤎❤ And of course also a big thank you to Jeremy Robson, noire, Shohei Ishikawa and Kay Yu, and all the other Animators and Artists that have worked so hard to make this happen.

I guess most of them do but last I checked they're still playing Kronii's 'Warden of Time' lore all its worth. See: Ame's last birthday stream, where Kronii brought up the matter of Ame's pocket-watch for the first time in forever.
Then again, considering history, (UNO, Monopoly, Mario Party, etc.) it kinda makes sense Kronii would be the least 'depowered'... Though her attempts at being dignified have increasingly mixed results.

Ooh, a song in a completely different genre than usual, with a very medieval feel. Who's the compo-WAIT, JEREMY ROBSON?!
I'm so happy for him, he's been making banger rearrangements of Holo songs for the past years and glad he's getting recognition.
I also love the little references sprinkled by Kay and the team around the video. Especially Mumei's 95 rules for civilization mirroring Martin Luther's 95 theses. A very cultured choice.

I appreciate the art consistency. Sometimes animation studios draw Hololive too different from their original art but this one was 100% consistent and it's awesome.
I love everything about this. There is so much I want to talk about. From the fact that Fauna's foot gets a whole scene to itself (I see you animators), to the idea that Kronii side-eyeing the Kronies and Boros in the window and just walking past them is as on-brand as her getting excited seeing them, IRyS being a Dragon Ball character while everyone else has melee weapons, or to Mumei looking into space and thinking to herself "I'm gonna get me that Moon". But mostly, I wanna talk about Baeruto being canonized? I can't...Baelieve it. DatteBaeyo!

This was so beautifully done! The score, the animation, the imagery, all top notch. I got into Hololive when IRyS and Council debuted, so seeing Promise depicted so wonderfully means a lot. Promise forever! 🤎💜❤💚💙
First impressions; the Animation was really way beyond what I was expecting and could easily pass as an Anime Opening. At the same time it does managage to reference and show a lot, some of it very obvious but also a lot that is rather subtle.
Same as the Animation the Song itself does invoke the feelings of a adventure to come but also the times shared together thus far.
On that note I was not expecting the song to be in english, that was a great surprise as well.
Everyones voices working really well both in the solo as well as the shared lines, even if they don't always match 100% with the Animation at that point in the song. Totally showing just how far all of you have come not only on your own but also now together as Promise. Really, a big THANK YOU to you 5 for giving us this Promise. 💜💚💙🤎❤
And of course also a big thank you to Jeremy Robson, noire, Shohei Ishikawa and Kay Yu, and all the other Animators and Artists that have worked so hard to make this happen.
