At last, she comes out with an original song that is jam packed with emotions but its in a whole new genre that fits perfectly with this new tone in her voice that has so much more confidence behind it when compared with her first original. If we start seeing more music projects like this from her, we might be getting an EP or even an album in the future because I think Ina has found a voice that she can build her music around if she wants to make music like Bae has started to do.

Now that the official translation for the Japanese lyrics is out, I've updated my translations so that they match the official ones! I'm glad to see that I caught the reference to R'lyeh after learning that Wunder Riku wrote the lyrics with C'thulu in mind!
Ina seems to have a mystical ability to grip my heart with her music and refuse to let go. Violet did it with a soft and melancholic feeling, but this song has an almost desperate feeling to how it flows. The entire thing feels like a last act of defiance from someone who's been restrained for so long that they've almost stopped fighting. Given that the lyrics were inspired in part by the Myth's Bad Ending short, it's not hard to imagine that version of Ina giving her last push in her fight against the influence of the Ancient Ones, only for it to end up falling short.

I'm not so arrogant to say it as something with certainty, but after hearing this song I'd love to hear Ina sing "Violet" again because she seems to have been working hard with her singing voice, and I'd like to hear "Violet" with "Today's Ina's voice".
