hey there girlypops! Today I wanted to try something new and rate a show's outfits, which I've basically never seen before. I know that satc is quite famous, but somehow it's never been shown on my family TV as a kid. However, being the proud owner of a pinterest account, I happen to see lots of outfits that have been worn throughout and got curious about what satc's closet is all about. So enjoy me rating these - a little all over the place - fits :)

Worth mentioning that the fact that Carrie, a journalist, wore the Newspaper Print Dress is camp and therefore gets bonus points 😘

I always felt like Phoebe used her fashion more for fun and expression of freedom since for the longest she felt stuck and was the one trying to find stability in a career and of course being a witch (her powers would hit at the most random times, that’s rough. Everyone else could control theirs).
While Piper and Prue had decided on a career and were actively pursuing it or succeeding in it, respectively when we meet them, their wardrobe matched them so well too. Prue was the most successful and dressed that way- more business wear in office but could switch it up with splashes of colors and shapes or basics with a flash of fabric (i.e., basic black T-shirt with snakes skin pants or an asymmetrical top and and dark boot cut bottoms.) I felt like being a witch was more just another job to her. Piper was the mediator and could balance between the oldest and the baby. It’s no wonder that she works in food and business- she can balance the chaos of it all in her own way. She wore a lot of basics and cotton (got to move around with ease) but had no problem showing a little bit of skin through V-necks, (remember cold shoulder tops 🤦🏽♀️lol) and a range of colors.
When Paige entered the picture, I felt like she was at times a Phoebe on molly but tamed it down towards the end. She went from being an only child to being the youngest. She gets to be more whimsical longer. You can tell from my commentary that the earlier seasons were my favorite lol. That type of video would be cool though.

It would be great if you include also C. C. Babcock. She is basically the " villain" but I feel that her style is so underrated
@@iCharlyprime You should focus on Fran, C.C. Babcock, Val and maybe even Sylvia and Yetta some of the outfits from the last 2 are CRAZY but in the best way possible! 🤩🙌✨

Carrie in the tutu has got to be peak s and the city. I feel Samantha missed out here. Her sexy dresses in the early series are stunning.

Girl you need to watch Sex and the city!! My favourite guilty pleasure, not really intelligent or modern show for our days but so entertaining and fun to watch. Also the best Carrie outfits are not the famous ones, in the first season she has a minimalist style that you would love.

Not gonna lie, i've always hated Carrie's looks (except the iconic tutu one) even as a little girl who had no business watching this with my mom 😂
Btw, Samantha's 'costume' like outfit is from a flashback where it's showed how the four women met back in the 80's!

As someone who binged watched this series at 17, I appreciate your unbiased opinion. Miranda is definitely underrated! She’s the smartest woman on the show. I loved Carrie as a teen but she’s really problematic.

The cowboy hat one with the snake print top and low waist midi skirt ( just wondefully chaotic)
The polka dot green belt wore on a bare waist with low waist midi skirt and pink tied shirt
The iconic "naked dress" , a nude cami mini dress that SJP also slayed with at a premiere
The nude sheer one she wore to a wedding in Season 1, with frills of fabric
The pink dress she wore on a date with Aleksandr Petrovsky where they ended up in McDonald's

Thanks for this great video! I miss SATC so much! The outfits you selected sum up the show perfectly - it goes from the sublime to the ridiculous and back again each episode (with a fair amount of problematic moments which have aged like milk). There are so many other looks in the show that I would love you to see. And I implore you, if you ever do watch the show, stop at the end of the last season or at the first movie. The second movie and And Just Like That are absolutely awful! Different stylist for AJLT too and the clothes are bleugh at worst, forgettable at best.
