We want to visit Japan so badly! We've heard great things about the trains (from their smoothness, to their speed, to always being on time, etc). Seeing the countryside in the snow would be an absolute dream! Looks amazing! 🚂 ❄️
I love this channel! I've had a fascination with Japan for many years, and when you travel around showing us different areas/ scenery/ transport, I feel lucky that you're taking us along on your journey. 😁😁😁
Thank you for taking me along on a ride through your beautiful country. I've always wanted to visit Japan, and your channel is the next best thing in the meantime. Hope you are doing well. We're getting some more snow tonight which means I'll need to get up at 5 AM to dig my garage out. Ugh... Cheers from Chicago!
Aww Kuga another great video, i love seeing the trains and Japan, its really interesting.. I love the colour of the train and the whistle sounds so cute, Beaitufl scenery and the magical snow.. 4 minutes late in such conditions is amazing.. Here in England the trains run late most days for no reason, i gave up on public transport and i live 20 miles from the nearest train station..
Really love looking at all that snow, white landscape, everything blanketed by snow! I especially like the trees with snow. Tq for this! Thx also for the fun facts!
It seemed that this lovely scenery would never end. . . and then it did. I really hope you have done a video on your trip to Echigo-Yuzawa. I have been there numerous times on family skiing holidays and there are a number of really good places to eat at the Shinkansen station.
What a lovely trip. Thank you so much for showing us beautiful Japan in the winter time. It must have been a really fun trip, rattling (slightly) along in the cozy little train car with those gorgeous views…. (And the cute ‘whistle’ blowing when you go into a tunnel or under a bridge.)
I discovered this channel a few months ago and absolutely love it. I was in Tokamachi last month (my first trip to Niigata) and loved taking the trains and buses there.
I’ve been dying to go to Japan…. Have planned 2 years ago but the pandemic started…. I can’t wait for Japan to welcome tourists back😊 thank you for sharing all your journey in here and hope to see more
I've ridden on this line from Nagano to Togari-NozawaOnsen before the Shinkansen opened in Iiyama. Lovely view even in that route. And skiing in Nozawa Onsen is awesome 🙂
Wow! The vistas are spectacular. I hope you can repeat this trip n the summer time to show the difference. Thanks for taking us on this superb journey :)
Thank you so much for the journey. So much snow ❄️! I live in just south of Chicago, today and tomorrow are ⛄️ ❄️ snowy days for us. Not nearly as much as 26 inches, but a blizzard nonetheless,😃
Must be difficult to live rural with that much snow fall. Seeing those houses in the distance just peeking out from the snow drifts. Shoveling all that snow must be very time consuming. Lol
Love watching these videos! Really miss Japan. Have you ever done the Kurobe Alpine Route? I've been wanting to see the infamous snow walls and the Japan Alps. Hopefully someday!
The single carriage train is so cool. Like in Hokkaido, south from Kutchan. Is the bag on the train coupling to keep the snow and ice off? That's a beautiful trip. Another to add to the list. Thank you.
if you want to bobsled - come to Calgary 🇨🇦 you can experience bobsledding at the Olympic park from 1988 Winter Games - I hear it’s a great experience 🤣😂
I have to admit that upon reading that the railway service was suspended due to snowfall I was a little sceptical (because where I come from, trains are being suspended after 3 snowflakes). But then... there was Morimiyanohara... Holy Bob!
Every time I watch videos on this channel, all I can think about is how beautiful Japan is.

I’m not into trains at all but Kuga’s videos always put a dreamy smile on my face. Domo arigato Kuga 🙏🥰
White snow and blue sky goes SO well together. Also, I absolutely LOVE the classic looking train ❤

コロナ禍の真前の2020年の年末年始に家族全員でこの飯山線を乗ったことがありました。戸狩野沢温泉スキー場のあたりに、温泉は暑かったし,民泊の料理が美味しかったし,雪が全然降りなかった…

Such a picturesque journey must be so relaxing to travel. Thanks for sharing. Bushyboy Oz.
Beautiful. In Germany this type of Train is called a „Schienenbus“ (Track bus?).More tunnels from the inside please.
Beautiful.
That’s such a beautiful train journey 😊
you know it’s cold when you hear the snow crunch under your feet 🇨🇦
great video
It's a route that runs through an area that even the Japanese aren't very familiar with, but it's got a lot of snow and a lot of charm!
Must be difficult to live rural with that much snow fall. Seeing those houses in the distance just peeking out from the snow drifts. Shoveling all that snow must be very time consuming. Lol
@Jpop Travels- Love the snow scenes but now waiting for the Cherry Blossoms
Beautiful. Maps don't seem to have much English so much be tricky for tourists. Show your lunch, we are interested!
Wundervolles Videio ! Danke aus Deutschland
Holy Cats! It's so beautiful!
Nice place. Walking from Thailand 🇹🇭
1:55 reminds me of Spirited Away train scene (Sixth Station), but it's snow ❤️

So Kuga what is it like when all this snow thaws, is flooding a problem? Lovely video as always.
SNOWY AESTHETICS.............."SWITZERLAND is MISS WORLD".....✍🏿
This is straight out of Spirited Away.. it's so pretty and hard to believe that Japan gets over 2 feet of snow
Its more like 20 feet in someplaces
if you want to bobsled - come to Calgary 🇨🇦 you can experience bobsledding at the Olympic park from 1988 Winter Games - I hear it’s a great experience 🤣😂
Nice, thank you.
