Oh I love snow aswell, watching the snowflakes dancing in the shine of streetlights. And the feeling of when you're on public transport, it is cold outside and late evening, you are just tired leaning your head against the window and stare out into the snowy night, longing for your bed with the monotonous noise of the vehicle moving (good here you are basically in bed already and can snuggle up staring into the snowy night till the world gets blurry in front of your eyes...). Love it! Your morning impressions on the train (view to the snowy outside reminds me to back in the day when I did my apprenticeship and had to go to class by train 50 kilometres away. The crisp cold outside and the bright snow and in the inside the heat was on and it was nice and toasty, you almost didn't wanna leave the train again...
5:00 If I had to make a guess, I think it's related to the introduction of digital radio into Japan. They may not have wanted to upgrade the train's receiver for it. Otherwise, another lovely video.
Thanks Kuga .. this vlog had it all. Wonderful scenery both night and daytime. Real train sounds that let you know you are on a train and the peace and tranquility of your cabin. Your choice of food snacks was amazing .. things we never see. I truly love your expressions of quirky things you say in the vlogs .. just like I hear here. We have many overnight sleeper trains here in Oz some go 1000s of klms. Don't stop making these interesting journey vlogs they are so entertaining. Bushyboy Oz.
There's a good channel, Rory Ding Travels, for the Aussie ones. Though unlike Kuga's channel vids he narrates in his ones whereas I prefer ones like Kugas travels with subtitling rather than voice narration. However the videos themselves are like Kuga's, well done and professional.
This was a lovely post. The scenery truly was outstanding. I was hoping to see some of the coastline near Izumo-shi, but my eyes were filled with those delicious looking soba noodles! Thank you, Kuga-san.
Thank you so much for sharing your enjoyable train ride with us. I love the video section that showed the river it was very beautiful and then also later on when the snow came back of the beautiful white snow covered scenery with the fog higher up that made it look very storybook like.! 😊👍💖🤩
I was wondering have you ever visited the world's oldest hotel in Japan. which is owned by the same family for over 53 generations. imagine the history that places seen. love the video. the train look comfortable. and the scenery was beautiful. enjoyed it as always keep up the good work
Your content is getting better every time you do a sleeper train video. Makes me want to be in one of those sleeper trains one day, but if there is high speed rail, I love those better. Lesson for this video involving this sleeper train or any sleeper train is to always purchase shower card as soon as you board the sleeper train
Tip: I tried both the Nobinobi seats (free if you're on a JR Pass) and the private cabins (did a trip each way) and definitely recommend doing private cabins unless you are on a low budget.
Konnichiwa! Genki desu ka? I am surprised there was no food to buy on the train. Good that you hrought some food with you. The "custard fish" looked oishii Kuga. I love your videos. Arigato for them. From Lynne in Australia. 💖💗🤗💗💖👍
1st class video production, the scenery is so beautiful, watching from a moving train gives out such an indescribable feeling. Thank you for your excellent and hard work. God bless.
Hello again. Great to see you back with another awesome video. Its very relaxing. It sometimes feel like I am there with you. Thank you for taking us along on your journey. Stay safe and healthy. Love from Montreal,Quebec. 🥰
Best one yet, Kuga-san ❤️! I loved the videos of Sunrise Izumo / Seto last year, and seeing the route in snow is a real treat 😁! I am watching this as I am laying down, going to sleep - perfect 😍! I need a cup of coffee and a couple of cats 😻😻 with me … or an otter or two🥰! JR would never let me bring otters - they get loud when snuggling, wake up the whole train 😆! Shout out to Sakura and Mochi 🥰! (ma ko’s channel - otter and cat, respectively)
You should come to Sweden and take the 19 hour overnight train from Stockholm to Abisko and the Polar Circle! You have your own shower, and in the morning they bring you coffee/Tea and breakfast 🙂 If you travel in early Summer, you get to experience the Midnight Sun ☀️
16;50-we have trains like this here in Canada as well: The Canadian (Toronto-Vancouver) and the Ocean (Montreal-Halifax), so if you ever decide to visit Canada, you can book a trip and ride one of those.
My daughter has been eating Pocky for years now. A Japanese friend got her started. Much easier to find in US grocery stores now. Before, it was always Japanese specialty stores.
I definitely love watching your snow videos. Keep on making them. As far as the US trains, our trains do not even compare with how good or clean as your trains are. BTW, cute monster.
This is beautiful. I love watching your videos because it feels like I'm travelling with you. I love the food in Japanese convenience stores and I would have also bought a lot of food just for the train ride😅. Though unlike you, I would have finished all of it within the first hour on the train 🤣. I look forward to your next video.
Thank you Google translate! I hope it makes sense. それは私が知っているすべての人にとってケーキのレシピかもしれません。 :)
well your not alone as here in the UK there is only 2 different companies that operates one sleeper per night and they are The Riviera Night Sleeper which is English and runs from London Paddington to Penzance, and the other is a Scottish sleeper called Caledonian night sleeper and runs from London Euston to the far reaches of Scotland, including Fort William
Aww it never told me it was live, unless I was asleep at the time. Thankyou for sharing this. Very beautiful snowy scenery 🥰 My cat has changed the video half way through, I was watching one snowy day journey and then i looked away for a second and your in a different cabin on a different route. I'll have to watch them both again now. Your Shinkansen journey just popped up so will do that one next, it's a rainy day in England, so nice to spend it with you, touring Japan on trains. Have you been on a monorail yet? I kinda have a monorail obsession at the minute.
The US is diving headfirst into a fuel crisis. Airplanes will be the first to be hit by that. I bet trains will become far more appealing in the near future.
Undoubtedly awesome! As a rail fan and photographer, I could relate well to the excitement that this journey takes you through. An overnight journey on a train in sleeper class is pure bliss. More so, when you've got to see the snowy landscape in the night. And I completely agree, even ordinary foods taste delicious in sleeper class coaches. I experience it every time. What I enjoyed the most was the empty, neat and clean platforms and station arenas. Looking ahead for more train videos from you.
Nice video clip...Japan is very worthy and peace country. Their all things are smoothy and comfort.the train service of japan very great.the people of japan cool minded and peace lover...have you nice journey. Thanks...

I remember my trip train in Switzerland wintertime,, never forget beautiful chalets under snow by night. Really like a Christmas post card.

I cannot get enough of watching these videos so relaxing just grateful for someone taking the time and effort in making these video’s
All Kuga’s videos are relaxing. Never stop them.
This was a really good trip 🔝👌 thanks for taking us with you 🙏 looks cozy ☺️
Heavy snow and the sound of a train puts me to sleep and is so relaxing 😌 😴
I agree! Whenever I am unable to sleep, I rewatch any of his snow videos. ❄
Ambient white noise--the Best
That's why I watch him during nights🙋
Yep, me too. Lol
Exactly!

This is so mesmerising and the silent voice of cabin kinda warms me very well. Thank you so much for this peace.
Would be cool if you had a camera recording the whole night and made it a timelapse. See the snow start and end.
Wow, those noodles at the end looked amazing! Lovely snowscapes. Thanks again, Kuga-san!
This was a lovely post. The scenery truly was outstanding. I was hoping to see some of the coastline near Izumo-shi, but my eyes were filled with those delicious looking soba noodles! Thank you, Kuga-san.
16:00 imagine driving that road in the snow!
Wow it’s so beautiful & cosy. Love the snowy landscape 🤩
Simply amazing... thank you for sharing this wonderful view.
Thanks for creating wonderful moments. A beautiful slow night and cool winds. Japan my dream destination.
Lovely. I felt as though I was also travelling along experiencing all the snow, rain, shine...Thank you.

Nice job, as always. Great scenery. Thank you for what you do.
Some beautiful scenery
I love Japan and it's people and would love to visit atleast once in the future
Bed is a bit short. But compared to a chair it is amazing. And the visuals out the window. Wow!
Kuga, I love your vlogs. I enjoy the peacefulness you bring from your beautiful country in the winter. Thank you for always sharing.
Absolutely gorgeous, I'm so thankful for these videos, so soothing and at the same time so exciting to watch. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 greetings from Argentina

Japan is awesome
Despite the anime stuff japan is a certified good country
Amazing video wish I can go to Japan and do this.

Those rounded windows look amazing.
Enjoy watching your fantastic video and listening to the great sound of the train great scenery 😀👍👏
It was good to see you traveling by train again Kuga. The Sunrise Express is on my bucket list!
Tip: I tried both the Nobinobi seats (free if you're on a JR Pass) and the private cabins (did a trip each way) and definitely recommend doing private cabins unless you are on a low budget.
So pretty to watch on a hot summer day in July! Love it!

Another thing to love about Japan. Ekiben and also their convenience stores! 😍 How I wish we had Japan 7-11 or Family Marts in NZ!
What absolutely beautiful countryside 👍🇬🇧
Nothing compared my winter train trip from Switzerland to Lichtenstein by night. Unforgettable sceneries.
I love this beautiful chunky train 👏🤩
Thank you so much for these… all of your travels are wonderful…
What a lovely ride. Lucky you and thanks for sharing. I loved the snowy landscape.

Wow! Sweden is a really expensive place to travel in but so beautiful! How much does the overnight train cost?
@@EVL-xj5vc hi, I looked this up, I think its around 78euro the cheapest one, and 104 euro the highest one
@@abhi739 thank u
I appreciate you showing your travels. Sometimes it feels like this is as close as I’ll ever get to traveling so far
Enjoyed watching seeing the scenery changes

My daughter has been eating Pocky for years now. A Japanese friend got her started. Much easier to find in US grocery stores now. Before, it was always Japanese specialty stores.
Pocky is just a dipped biscuit stick, right?
@@DinnerForkTongue -Yes but to my daughter they were an exotic food. Lol

Thank you so much. I want to do that trip. You had lots of snacks for the trip. A beautiful sunrise! Is it difficult to get a sleeper on the train?
Makes me cozy and warm just watching this. Beautiful.
Красота😇😇😇большие окна. Одно удовольствие путешествовать.
Тесное купе и сухомятка. Путешествие, явно, на любителя. 🙂
Love your videos. I hope you made a video on the cherry blossom on Japan! 🌸🇯🇵

Thank you for this wonderful video! Riding trains is such a pleasant way to travel. Seeing snow fall is special.
I’d love to visit Japan in the winter and see the snow!
Me, too! 😊
Thanks for this beautiful video! I like the snowscape but I think the highlight is your soba meal in the end 😆
What an experience! Thank you very much for sharing with us! I can't wait to ride the overnight train myself
Love your videos! Keep up the good work❤
Wow, the snow ❄

Amazing video as always, so calming! 💙
My first though was that you were on a sleeper train between Atami and Izu, which are not even 100 km apart. But then I was wrong 🤣
