Exactly. Think about the bigger picture too. He's holding back the advancement of the entire world if he is only money driven. He should do the right thing and make one of these companies a realistic offer so he's not holding the entire world back from their potential and instead help to fund the advancement of our society.

I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?

What Jensen did was a dick move, but business world is cut throat. Not sure, if anyone understood Jensen. He clearly mentioned QC to do better with empirical non-data driven problem solving. Currently how many qubit stability is achievable and for how long. The capabilities are just extrapolated and exagerrated, due to the parallel nature of QC. That said, who thought a GPT LLM could mimic intelligence after digesting the entire internet data?.
So, there is a real possibility for QC to succeed, IIF they achieve extreme stability and predictability of qubits for several hours, instead of fraction of few hundredth of seconds. Who thought gene editing possible before CRISPR happened?. Just some 💭

As someone affiliated with one of the leading QC firms, I can confidently assert that the advancements in QC set to emerge by the end of March will be groundbreaking, especially from two of the 'Magnificent Seven' companies. While I encourage thorough research and understanding before making investment or business decisions, it is worth noting the far-reaching implications of these development, particularly regarding material scarcity and the transformative role QC could play in global power dynamics. To Jensen's remarks, they are not surprising, given his emphasis on non-quantum related innovations, not to mention he had just announced some of his products hours before, but they underscore the seismic impact quantum technology will have. Not only in industries but also in areas like national security and geopolitical stability. The future holds immense potential but QC is here and there is no next for QC, it is already.

Rigetti sold dozens of their quantum computers to Amazon for their AWS Braket service and to Microsoft for their Quantum Azure service, so the problem isnt quantum computers its the lack of mass adoption and the reason Jensen Huang talked negatively about Quantum is to prevent mass adoption for as long as possible until NVIDIA is ready to enter the Quantum industry.

I'm analyzing stocks in this industry as well. I am a seasoned IT major. Does that mean I need to work at one of the quantum computing companies to understand how this technology will exponentially change the entire world. The quantum hardware is there. For these companies to earn more, they need to develop software that IT professionals can interact with the QPUs without a steep learning curve. Monetarily quantum computing profits won't reach their potential until that part is developed. These QPUs are completely different than CPUs. Easiest example I can give you is that you can't run Windows 11 on it because Win 11 doesn't have the capability of understanding the hardware to bridge the hardware and software together.
If anyone says we're 10 years out and doesn't explain why, then their estimate should hold no merit. Also, it's not an easy question to answer. Top notch IT specialists have the capability to utilize it today, but requires a HUGE learning curve. To make them available to a wide range of IT professionals, we're probably 5 years out, but enterprises need to make sure it fits their budget and quantum is the best solution for their use-case. Everyday people will probably use apps and stuff that are developed to send difficult processing stuff to the quantum cloud and receive the answer back... these are probably 10 years out, but the government and other IT security organizations need to get on top of this because encryption is in danger and your regular CPUs can't hold up to the exponential increase of CPU power needed to process that OR they might not be capable at all.
Side note: AWS and Azure have had the ability to rent quantum computing time with Rigetti, D-Wave, and IONQ. So that's a big reason why I'm saying 5 years for a WIDE use-case across IT. If you understand how huge AWS and Azure is for the IT world, then you'll understand why this is a big deal

I think the safest strategy is to diversify investments. But if you need proper advice, consider speaking with a financial expertise. Don't get me wrong, you can do it on your own, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area because some time ago, I started out investing on my own and lost quite a bit. But after the 2020 crash, I managed to pull out about $160k. I then invested that money with an analyst, and in just seven months, I made almost $1m. It's amazing how having the right guidance can turn things around
