I had heard some of these songs on UA-cam videos labeled as demos, but what you have on this cassette tape is more unique, probably songs at a more developed stage, finished versions basically, as the EQ is more balanced, clear and polished. All the guitar parts also sound clearer, with an improved attack, my goodness, this particular recording sounds absolutely beautiful, you have a real treasure, millions of fans have dreamed for years of hearing this group of cult songs from an original source and finally here you have them. Thanks for sharing.
You should definitely transfer a copy of this for backup. Maybe to DAT and a gold CD as well. You don't want to lose it! Performance is great, and the quality is pretty good. Some selections sound like the Warrior versions, but others seem like completely different recordings. Definitely should be preserved! Thanks for sharing. Really love hearing this.
You probably could not trust a company to do it for you. That's pretty much a given. LOL This stuff sounds much better quality that's what is out there on YT right now. You could probably just simply get a cable using a line out from that system (If it has it.) And then using a Line in to a PC. I am not sure how it would sound tho.@@robertgallo8491
I've heard all of these songs in different stages. There have been a few versions that seemed to have vanished from UA-cam. You have some really unique stuff here. There's a couple here that are really at first scratch track stages. Then you have stuff that seems to have been more developed with much better structure & definitely closer to final production versions. I can definitely hear where he pulled a few parts here and there into other songs. Very, VERY cool. I hope you'll make the digital transfer soon.
That song "Back on the streets" was on Vinny Vincent Invasions first cd and it sounds so much better. I didnt like his 2nd cd but the 1st one every song kicks ass. Thanks for sharing this with us\,,/
Maybe It's The Rain is pretty amazing IMO...wonderful melody, lyrics, really could have been a big 70's 'yacht rock' hit in the right hands. Vinnie has a great voice, and I never understood why he went into shredder mode when he is so talented at this kind of melodic songwriting and soloing. Forbidden could have easily been on Lick It Up if you imagine Paul singing it with loud guitars and full blown KISS treatment
Yes. I really enjoy his singing. He should have always just sung his own material. Not sure why he is obsessed with having helium fueled "dog killer" upper register guys scream out the lyrics to his songs!
no, it feels more like a song for a movie about a love story than for a horror movie in my ears. It would have probably fit in somewhere in Pretty Woman.
I totally get why VV didnt want to sign that contract. That took a lot of guts. Man, he can write some songs thats for damn sure. Also, that outfit they thru him in - I'd be like, "I thought you guys liked me?!".
Is there any chance you could re-rip this tape? The versions of the songs on this tape are unique to it. I'm currently trying to get every Vinnie demo and re-master them to as high a quality as possible.
@@robertgallo8491 It's not that hard to do. If you have a computer all you'll need is to buy a USB casette player. There are many tutorials on UA-cam wich show what to do from there. The tutorial by "love what you do" should be easy to follow. Hopefully you'll be able to do that in order to make sure this tape is digitally preserved.
Dude! Save that asap, transfer it to a digital format, those old casettes can get damaged. This is awesome

Thanks.. I need to figure out how to do that.
@@robertgallo8491If there are any sound studios in your area, many of them offer mastering services.

DAT?! It's not 1997.
That may be the highest quality recording of these songs out in the wild.

awesome. thanks heaps for posting this. agree with the other comments too. shame he screwed himself and everyone else over. he had so much to offer.
Thanks!
great🎉
Is this cassette for sale?
this version of forbidden is superior to the studio version
This was recorded in 1983? Yet it sounds like 1970's B- movie soundtrack music ?
Gypsy sounds like a song that should have been on a Friday The 13th or Nightmare On Elm Street Movie Soundtrack.

Gene liked him. Mean Mr. Mustard didn't. End of story
Who's "Mean Mr. Mustard"? Paul Stanley?

Yes. Vinnie Vincent referred to Paul as such in a Eddie Trunk interview
