He definitely could play in this era and if he couldn’t these guys are or where Professional Players. They are not like the average Joe. They can adjust depending on the situation. Ellis is a career 31% 3pt shooter. He can't beat people off the dribble anymore and teams don't send guys out to guard him at the 3. Then i defense he is a liability. I loved his game back in the day, but it's over for him.
Melo is a career 34.7% 3pt shooter. A team can find a guy who shoots that, plays better defense and doesn't draw the same media attention to the locker room.
Carter shot 39% from 3 last year. career 37.5 from 3. He can still dribble and is a willing passer. Compared to melo who tends to not move the ball. Vince also took to a bench role much smoother than Melo.
Melo has made 1,362 3pt shots
Carter has made 2,229 3pt shots..
They were both terrible with their last teams.If they could really help teams win then they still be in a team.

1st time seeing the HAMPTON kid. Super impressed with his making passes on time and in the pocket for the receiver. A big part of passing is putting it in the right place so they can catch and shoot or go up. Also he played under control got to his spots. Showed a complete offensive skill set as a scorer on 3 levels. Always plays with his head up looking ahead. Defiantly a PRO will see how his body develops but the skill level is there
