As a knick fan im really excited to have randle. I believe he can play point, point forward and be a stretch 5. His handles look better and it looks like he added the one leg fade away which will make him lethal. I say he gets atleast 21 ppg with 8.5 rpg

he's been averaging 21 on 15 shot attempts a game for the past season and a half going back to the Lakers and last year with the Pels. If he ever got 20 shots per game, like most star players get, dude would easily score 26 ppg.

Julius definitely plays good defense, but like Homie said, he's not going to go all out in pick up games. playing offense and defense full go puts wear and tear on your body, and he has to save his body for the NBA season, not pick up games.

@@itsmooremoney2994 ok, if you are talking positioning and defensive fundamentals, then I agree with you that he has no excuse not to work on that even during pick up games. I thought you were talking more so about 1v1 perimeter defense.
Also yes, his team defense on the perimeter needs some work, and I think having a better defensive coach will help. His first two coaches weren't great defensive coaches, although Luke was a decent defensive coach.
You can argue though that hedging PnRs could risk someone banging knees with you, so lets not act like that doesn't exist.
If Lakers would of waited, all the pieces will be coming together this season. Randle, ball kuzma, Ingram. Oh well 😔

Like that's just petty to me. The guy may have not expanded his ambi-dexterity, but he's expanded his jump shot, which is arguably more important. Julius needed a counter punch to his post game, and a more prevalent right hand would have made his post game more lethal, but wouldn't exactly keep defenses honest from preventing his drive game like a jump shot would.
