Close engagements are her favourite thing. She likes to get up close in personal and fight with her bare hands. Oh and ram them......because Its warspite.
Hey Wolfpack, I think I know why your battle pop up didn't appear when warspite engaged. I was playing this morning and had a Kingfisher shadowing a supply convoy until my sub intercepted. I had chosen the "Ignore" Option when the kingfisher found it, and kept the japanese convoy surveilled the whole time. When my sub reach it, I had to manually go to tactical. The game thinks you want to ignore all encounters if you spot with a kingfish. I tested it to see if I could cheese it a bit, and managed to prevent the japanese from engaging one of my taskforces that way.
I've got models of the Vosper 1 and 2 MTB's good luck in nailing the Carrier - Hurricanes as top cover. The Stringbags will do the mischief. Oh! They're not there. Good luck in getting into second place behind. You got the carrier with Five torpedoes and three with the Kongo. Good luck with that... You're going to need it. Oh my goodness! You didn't need it. You got the carrier..
One slight problem w/ manual torpedo is that bombers correct their flight path dynamically and usually drop torpedoes much closer, meaning that if you drop them early without correcting planes' flight path, they are likely to "lag" behind the target.
I had the same thing happen last night in the base game. We started side by side at 1000 yards like old sailing ships. I was lucky to avoid the torpedoes and my cruisers did work.
I do love watching you play this game. And I have to admit that spawning right in the midst of the enemy has gotten very old. I wonder if there's a fix out there you can apply?
Enjoying the series! When attacking warships with airpower I think you should keep them low after dropping their payload. Because once you drop you have them pull up and put them right into the fire arcs of many more Japanese flak and dual purpose guns than were able to shoot at them when they were low to the water. Just a thought! Obviously keep them from flying into anymore Japanese command bridges tho. Lol.
Hopefully it's recognized and learnt that engaging destroyers with armored ships at closer ranges saves a lot of lives and ammunition compared to fighting destroyers with destroyers at huge distances.

They were in critical condition but braved the hundreds of miles of enemy seas not once but TWICE to rescue 200 american soldiers facing certain death at Singapore
American? I think those were Australian, British and Indian ones, definitely not USAF in Singapore) That dash towards the city was crazy though, that's true
@@ЧукчаСКамчатки that's true, my American brain got the best of me lol
"All the good guys are americans and all Americans are always the good guys"
I blame the school system lol
@@devinosland359 that's fine. The more you know I guess?
Perfect way to end a busy week. A new Wolfpack345 video.
Best video ever, and I havent even finished watching
I'm just about to start watching and with a claim like yours I'm bursting with anticipation!!
20 swordfish is a hell of a thing.
Old and slow maybe, but they got the job done. It's not what you've got, it's where you stick it...
Made my day to see another video posted keep up the work!
One of the best episodes so far! Keep up the great work!
Dude, the most epic video of the series "to date" very well done Fleet Commander Wolfpack. 😘
One of the best episodes so far. Great battles!
watching HMS Warspite let off with those big guns is always satisfying to see
This was an amazing episode!! I love seeing enemy carriers sunk!
Don't worry about warspite's damage. It's what she does.
Also I have a good explanation for the close engagement.
A rainsqual arrived which covered both fleets, then dissipated with the two fleets right on top of eachother.
The rain squal was totally not summoned by warspite herself. Close engagements are her favourite thing. She likes to get up close in personal and fight with her bare hands.
Oh and ram them......because Its warspite.
The next episode never comes quickly enough.
Absolutely addictive series! Thanks!
The Black Cats music over the Catalina attack is awesome
I've got models of the Vosper 1 and 2 MTB's good luck in nailing the Carrier - Hurricanes as top cover. The Stringbags will do the mischief. Oh! They're not there. Good luck in getting into second place behind. You got the carrier with Five torpedoes and three with the Kongo. Good luck with that... You're going to need it. Oh my goodness! You didn't need it. You got the carrier..
Adding battlestations pacific theme makes it better. Nice addition as always Wolfpack.
always a pleasure to see the string bag in action
damage control teams need some good R&r after this episode
That’s an impressive strike- I admit i was a bit skeptical of how much Hermes could really accomplish, but the string bags proved me wrong.
One slight problem w/ manual torpedo is that bombers correct their flight path dynamically and usually drop torpedoes much closer, meaning that if you drop them early without correcting planes' flight path, they are likely to "lag" behind the target.
8:49 - perfect shot
"Hello and welcome to Pacific!" (c)
You caught them with their trousers down. Superb.
I had the same thing happen last night in the base game. We started side by side at 1000 yards like old sailing ships. I was lucky to avoid the torpedoes and my cruisers did work.
Probably the best episode of this serie ! 👍
I have seen you on last of our FTC campaigns. I am looking forward to that video. Thank you for your videos
I was worry when Warspite getting quite damaged during the battle (seeing those fires at magazine really scary..)
Wolfpack - Don't panic ! Warspite is one very tough opponent - plus the fact she's with a very good hitting battlegroup.
I said so- then! I am now! She's a tough old bugger! So don't worry. She came out of it with minor damage at the end!
The Grand Old Lady goes to show that she may be old, but she doesn't hold back and still very effective. Especially at point blank range.
I think you should get some S-boats to back up O-19 or at least another battleship of some sort to backup warspite
Warspite's the only one available
I thought earlier versions of this mod allowed KGV and Renown?
@@Atlasworkinprogressyeah, but now they are unavailable. BTW, do you have any problems with G4m model added by the mod?
Always lovely to see Swordfish!
Paul Jones are gonna avenge the sinking of Whipple
What a brawl! It is a dark day for the IJN, the emperor won't be pleased...
10:45 So that is how the Japanese got inspired to have submarine aircraft carriers.
I do love watching you play this game. And I have to admit that spawning right in the midst of the enemy has gotten very old. I wonder if there's a fix out there you can apply?
If the Paul Jones ever sinks I’m gonna cry
Excellent reaction to the enemy.
Battlestations Pacific soundtrack still fits this campaign and appreciate its use.
LOL. Imagine a battlefleet suddenly appearing next to its opponent!
Lol.
Ssuper episode , great editing and very exciting to watch.
That PBY run, I hear that BGM use. 10/10, I see you bro, I see you.
Black cat mission soundtrack was great for the cats 👍
Hopefully it's recognized and learnt that engaging destroyers with armored ships at closer ranges saves a lot of lives and ammunition compared to fighting destroyers with destroyers at huge distances.
Everyone on every ship accidentally fell asleep for a little bit but left the engines all on
Man your soundtracks were great on this one! Black cats AND Battlestations? Im sold :P
Wow, scratch one flat top. IJN starting to send in the heavy stuff now.
I like this one because it had the most action in a while.”Live Action”
I would like you to make a juggernaut fleet with four battleships destroying everything in sight.
Whale Wars, we have Paul Jones and Bob Barker now. Lmao!
Aboard the Jap carrier..."Maybe we should launch a couple of zeros for CAP? Naw it will be fine." .
That Battleship will still be with you. Warspite is one tough bugger! Trust me on this!
Love the cod black cats music with the pbys lol amazing
That carrier got Bismarked!
I keep imaging Warspite yelling out "Where is Kongo! Did the coward not have the courage to face me!"
Perfect music choice for the PBY run
I might have to watch this again later 👍👍👍
