In case no one has said this yet. The farm silos have an 800,000 l capacity each. I just looked in the xml files to see for myself and figured it would be helpful to anyone who wanted to know.
A great mod map tour, this is an amazing map, I’m already 11 and a half hours in and loving every minute of it, makes it even better that I only live 10/15 miles away from here 😁 Gloucestershire is an amazing place to live and the surrounding countryside is like this everywhere you look and drive, fantastic work Oxy 👌
OxygenDavids maps are always stunning to look at. But like most of his maps, it's almost too realistic. I prefer maps that have some kind of village/town and traffic aswell to give a bit of life to it. Also more varied sell points, rather than keep going down the same lanes to sell everything. But his landscapes are truly amazing.
If you put down grain mill and bakery you can turn the oats into flour, oats create the most flour per litre, turn flour into bread and the map has a sell point for bread built in
Oats may produce the most flour per liter based on the factory recipe but Oats also yields the least amount of crop per hectare of land. For example, 1 hectare of oats harvested will get you only 11,400 liters whereas a hectare of sorghum will yield 16,400 liters, wheat will yield 17,800 liters and barley will yield 19,200 liters per hectare. You can't judge factory output by recipe alone. You also have to consider how much yield you can get from your harvest since you can only harvest one specific crop per field per year. The way the recipe works for all the grains, a hectare of wheat, oats, and barley will all produce 14 pallets of flour whereas 1 hectare of sorghum will produce 17 pallets of flour. So that makes Sorghum the best crop to put in the Grain Mill giving you the most flour and therefore the most bread. And since the bakery will produce a maximum of 2 pallets per month (2,160 cycles with a 2 to 1 conversion of flour to bread = 2 pallets of 1,000 liters with 160 liters of bread remaining each month), a 1 hectare plot of land will get you 7 pallets of bread over a 4 month period for Wheat, Barley and Oats but you will get 8 pallets of bread off of a 1 hectare field of sorghum.

Awesome map review MrSealyP, love your honest reviews. Started playing this map and found some other little issues that I’m hoping you can relay to OxygenDavid. I sold the horse pen but it didn’t get rid of the horse exercise objects. As well I sold the pig pasture but it didn’t get rid of the pig huts or troughs. I’m hoping you can again relay this to Oxi so it can be fixed on an update. Have a great day Sir
Was so glad to see one of the first mod maps to be released on FS22 was a UK map from none other than Oxygendavid! Fantastic map. Already defected from the base game maps to this one and loving it. It has crashed a couple of times during gameplay but still great to play. Need to go into the construction tab and "demolish" the remove the junk from the barn. Keep up the stirling work Sir!
Great looking map and good to see you able to get back into the map tours. It’s a shame about the missing crop sell points, hopefully it’s an oversight. It would seem silly to not be able to sell one of the grains that are new to the game. Also it means there would be no contracts for oats or sorghum I suppose.
@@BigBudzGaming that’s the same as you feed them on all maps. They have been left off some sellpoints by accident, they are being fixed in the update when it comes out.

Dave's done another nice map, but like all his others it anti large and long vehicles and equipment, which will start p'ing me off pretty quickly, so I want be playing on it, but I would have liked too. And to top it off Giants rushed it through testing with a lots of issues, well they are consistent I suppose.
Yeah I agree. Perfect example is reverse into silos with a fences opposite, easy to back in short trailers not long ones. One with 2 small doors instead of one big one, just to make it harder for semis to use. You'll be able to 20 point reverse in no worries, but you'll hook the trailer on the door way when leaving every time, needing to use another vehicle to push the trailer to get in out, gee thanks OD.
Ok I've tried the map and it's not as tight as it looks, if you come at the silo from the right direction you (heading south) you can get in and out with the semi in one go, SORRY Dave I stand corrected. it's definitely not as tight as his previous maps and I will play on it for a while, but I'll build my own farm with chickens and use Dave's sheep, pigs and cows. I like that it not a maze of fences everywhere.

to remove junk from the barns you need to sell it in the build mode and it removes most of the junk from all of the yards. DO NOT sell any of the gates or doors by accident as they delete all animated doors and gates. also you can sell the animal troughs and triggers, also the horse stable if you want the fields for arible. the pig huts dont sell and nether does the cow pit or shead

Very good map tour as usual mr Sealy p always watch your map tours. More than anyone else you explain way more and it makes sense. As there is no traffic just think it as a lockdown due to virus as there are mask signs in entrances to shops
It's a great map - as usual from Oxy - but even better! This map was my main reason for moving to FS22 (which did amused him). Thanks for a helpful look around the map Paul!

Just for some info. If you or your views don't already know. If you start, not on new farmer, you can still buy the periphery. Go into land buy mode, click any field next to the periphery, like your going to buy it, then move your cursor to the periphery, select it (it wont highlight) then buy for $0.

My wife and i were really looking forward to doing a multiplayer game on here but not being able to buy the different areas of the map is a bit of a problem.
The basegame pig pasture doesn't allow straw and slurry either, but they do require water, only the pigsties do allow straw and slurry (and auto water so no water required).
You can sell the farm house, use the construction mode and click on the patio where the trigger is, you also get a tidy sum of money for the dog kennel too 👍 great review as always 👍
For a bit of a quick cash injection, you can sell either/both of the fuel tanks on each farm for over £800,000 each. This is on easy mode, so may decrease on other modes

I wonder if placing production sights such as the bakery will mean you can harvest and sell the sorghum and oats there? over all great looking map as oxygen David always delivers quality maps and the no collision problem which i do have a niggle with on OD maps can now be easily solved by hiding a fence in the hedge easier than it was to do on FS19
You can place the buildings but you then own them, meaning you can’t ‘sell’ to them, but they will accept the product if it’s part of their process chain.
I finally got my hands (digitally) on fs22. None of the “base game” maps, nor ANY of the current mod maps are any good for my play style. This one… is simply awesome! I cannot wait to get my farm rolling! Next a pioneer map please!!!
Amazing map, but way too tight yards and sheds considering how big are fields and that you need big machineries. I am looking forward to see how someone will build a new farm yard, so i can steal some ideas :P
Couple little updates to sell a couple items and this map is a 10/10. Without the ability to sell oats and sorghum are a big bummer atm though. Will wait patiently for what I'm sure will come out in an update. Thanks for the tour!
Awesome map tour on awesome map. Started playing already with actual available mods . I don't know what's triggering fault maybe mods maybe map itself but I crashed game 3 times yesterday only selling and buying new stuff. I'm exchanging equipment for older ones like 1455, magnum etc.
Can I plz a question on this map. How do I get fuel into my tractors? I found the med. Diesel tanks on the map and filled them with Diesel,, but there is no trigger to fill my tractor tank up to full? Do you have to install another mod for fuel? There is no fuel station too.

Farm silo capacity is 800,000 each, I just had a delve in the source files. Fill types for sell points look to be hard coded, e.g. "WHEAT BARLEY CANOLA SUNFLOWER SOYBEAN MAIZE POTATO SUGARBEET SUGARCANE COTTON", the same for all sell points which take grain, which goes some way to explaining the absence of oats, sorghum, and I guess grapes and olives, though you can sell grape juice, raisins and olive oil, so you would need a processing station for those. Same issue with the "Remove Junk" trigger on PC as well incidentally. I tried tagging it and where it shows up there's nothing in the help menu/
I've figured it out! In Construction mode you select Demolish and you can highlight the blue sort of service trailer thing just inside the barn, where the trigger should theoretically be. "Demolish" that and the barn's cleared, you can then enter it. Note I did do this after I'd bought that small piece of land as I was wondering if that was the trick, it may or may not be a prerequisite.
Just had a quick drive around, it’s surprising how much of the map you can sell if you want to. The fuel and water containers are worth over a million when you sell them, plus you can sell the sell points and some animal pens too. Certainly is a great looking map though.
found a few bugs on this lovely map... field 23 = 0 euros to buy (kinda cheap) sheep watersupply with half filled shield runs out of water so they never grow in health and value since they "lack water" constantly)
Absolutely stunning map. Can't get the workers to drive between locations but that doesn't matter, the map is so beautiful you'll want to drive round yourself anyway.

Brought fs22 on release date didn't like the base maps so been waiting for this map . Already fs22 is on another level compared to fs19 and this map is the best I've seen and I thought lone oak would never be beaten . Good work oxygen D

A really immersive map. :) BTW did you know, that if you need to reset vehicles they don't spawn back at the garage, but into your farm itself, negating the long drive back to your farm. nice touch :)

Thankyou for taking on a grand tour around Calmsden Farm, MrSealyP! Visually it is, without a doubt, a stunning map that looks incredible realistic! Those lanes with the overhanging trees are a prime example, I've driven up and down many roads and country lanes in my time that look just like to that! As much as I enjoy a good British map, and this one is exceptional, I probably won't play this one much as its not really my style with the majoritively large fields and being beholden to the one main farm for the most part. But that's a me problem and shouldn't detract in any way from how good this map is! Cheers MrSealyP and a big thankyou to OxygenDavid for all his work!
You can sell the sleep trigger by going into demolish then place a new one anywhere on map by using the third farm house in the menu, great map looking forward to playing it now, PS5 also, oh another interesting fact if you sell the dog house I got 437,500 cash back bargain 😂
The map is Beautiful but after playing some time it feels empty it's just you and some people walking around, it would be nicer to have traffic on the road driving around. But the details on the map are amazing 👏
I have found a way to own the extra parts of the map in multiplayer. Start a game in single player as new farmer and save your game. Now start a multiplayer game using the game you saved as single player. Join the first farm and you own the periphery of the map.
I’ve got all collectibles except one. It’s a pig, and opposite the sheep dialog, behind a wall and a green bin. I can’t seem to collect it, because the dialog opens. Any help would be welcome. I’m on PS5 too
You can sell the dog house and the fuel tanks each of which pay a decent amount of cash 👍🚜 I’m loving the map knew I would since I saw it way back last year. Keep up the fantastic work sir 👍👍

That said I’ve not sold anything other than the fendt and tipper trailer to fund a new grain trailer as the starting fields were big and let’s be honest a bigger one was needed, but yeah I wanna earn my money and play realistic may use auto bale loader though but unload it manually depends how busy I get 👍🚜
Beautiful map. Shame the majority of FS22 features have been missed out. Also, i think the starting equipment is too O.P. Selling the dog house, fuel tank and fertiliser buy point thingy get you £1.5 million. Missing sell points for Sorghum, Oats, Grapes, Olives, etc etc. I get the feeling the map was rushed out to be the first "proper" map on the modhub....
He is apparently already updating it to add the ability to sell the missing crops. Not sure on the logic of the amount of money you can get from the dog house, fuel tanks and water tank. Just short of £2m I think in all. May use some of it to buy a placeable area and add in the factories that I want to use by the biogas plant.

Small lanes.. huge fields..pass, beautiful map tho wow! Has tons of those bushes that are a nightmare to remove I see. Love the animals setup too.
I asked Oxygendavid on another stream if we need to place slurry/manure extensions to be able to use slurry etc. He said yes, we have to place them.
Yeah I can confirm that you must place a manure extensions nearby to get manure. For slurry I don't know.

I got riid of the rubbish in barns by going into construction and demolishing the barn, the rubbish dissappears and the barn stays ,I'm on ps5 btw👍

I bought a couple horses and it says to feed them oats, sorghum and hay. Maybe thats why theres no sell points for the oats and sorghum

For some reason it will only let me Rename that doghouse but not sell it.

I finally got my hands (digitally) on fs22. None of the “base game” maps, nor ANY of the current mod maps are any good for my play style. This one… is simply awesome! I cannot wait to get my farm rolling! Next a pioneer map please!!!

Amazing map, but way too tight yards and sheds considering how big are fields and that you need big machineries. I am looking forward to see how someone will build a new farm yard, so i can steal some ideas :P
Couple little updates to sell a couple items and this map is a 10/10. Without the ability to sell oats and sorghum are a big bummer atm though. Will wait patiently for what I'm sure will come out in an update. Thanks for the tour!
Awesome map tour on awesome map. Started playing already with actual available mods . I don't know what's triggering fault maybe mods maybe map itself but I crashed game 3 times yesterday only selling and buying new stuff. I'm exchanging equipment for older ones like 1455, magnum etc.
Can I plz a question on this map. How do I get fuel into my tractors? I found the med. Diesel tanks on the map and filled them with Diesel,, but there is no trigger to fill my tractor tank up to full? Do you have to install another mod for fuel? There is no fuel station too.

Farm silo capacity is 800,000 each, I just had a delve in the source files. Fill types for sell points look to be hard coded, e.g. "WHEAT BARLEY CANOLA SUNFLOWER SOYBEAN MAIZE POTATO SUGARBEET SUGARCANE COTTON", the same for all sell points which take grain, which goes some way to explaining the absence of oats, sorghum, and I guess grapes and olives, though you can sell grape juice, raisins and olive oil, so you would need a processing station for those.
Same issue with the "Remove Junk" trigger on PC as well incidentally. I tried tagging it and where it shows up there's nothing in the help menu/
I've figured it out! In Construction mode you select Demolish and you can highlight the blue sort of service trailer thing just inside the barn, where the trigger should theoretically be. "Demolish" that and the barn's cleared, you can then enter it. Note I did do this after I'd bought that small piece of land as I was wondering if that was the trick, it may or may not be a prerequisite.

Just had a quick drive around, it’s surprising how much of the map you can sell if you want to. The fuel and water containers are worth over a million when you sell them, plus you can sell the sell points and some animal pens too. Certainly is a great looking map though.
found a few bugs on this lovely map... field 23 = 0 euros to buy (kinda cheap) sheep watersupply with half filled shield runs out of water so they never grow in health and value since they "lack water" constantly)

Absolutely stunning map. Can't get the workers to drive between locations but that doesn't matter, the map is so beautiful you'll want to drive round yourself anyway.
If click on field 10 to buy it but back out without buying then you can buy or sell the Periphery so you can own the Bio gas plant!

Brought fs22 on release date didn't like the base maps so been waiting for this map .
Already fs22 is on another level compared to fs19 and this map is the best I've seen and I thought lone oak would never be beaten .

You can delete the sleep trigger via the construction > demolish tab if you want to house yourself elsewhere
Hi great map tour there’s a glitch on the collectables the pink pig top of cross road behind house with green bin Greco click on toy and it gives sheep buying menu

HELP! Great review great map but how do I get into the farmhouse? Tried both the front and rear small gates and neither opens, what am I missing????? Keep up the good work Mr P
It’s the same as most farmhouses in game, you don’t go inside.
A really immersive map. :) BTW did you know, that if you need to reset vehicles they don't spawn back at the garage, but into your farm itself, negating the long drive back to your farm. nice touch :)
Did you try to tag the trigger place to remove junk and see if it shows anywhere?
When you buy the fields that have the large sign "for sale/to let" can you get rid of the sign?
hello farmers....my question to this map?? there is watertraw in this field but we can put no water in there??maybe its some issue??is there another solution for cows to give fresh water??
Thankyou for taking on a grand tour around Calmsden Farm, MrSealyP! Visually it is, without a doubt, a stunning map that looks incredible realistic! Those lanes with the overhanging trees are a prime example, I've driven up and down many roads and country lanes in my time that look just like to that!
As much as I enjoy a good British map, and this one is exceptional, I probably won't play this one much as its not really my style with the majoritively large fields and being beholden to the one main farm for the most part. But that's a me problem and shouldn't detract in any way from how good this map is!

You can sell the sleep trigger by going into demolish then place a new one anywhere on map by using the third farm house in the menu, great map looking forward to playing it now, PS5 also, oh another interesting fact if you sell the dog house I got 437,500 cash back bargain 😂
They still don't have a pallet autoloader for ps5

The map is Beautiful but after playing some time it feels empty it's just you and some people walking around, it would be nicer to have traffic on the road driving around. But the details on the map are amazing 👏
This is a great map, I have just had a quick go on it, the only downside is no traffic, other than that it's cool !!!!

I do really like this map. The fields are huge though. The random poles and grass patches in the middle of fields are annoying though.
The ability to sell oats and sorghum will be fixed according to someone on the forum. Not sure about grapes and olives though.
Grapes and olives can always be used by the production chains.

Both silos are showing as 800k capacity each in the files on PC from the official mod-hub. Guessing its the same files and info on console?
I have found a way to own the extra parts of the map in multiplayer. Start a game in single player as new farmer and save your game. Now start a multiplayer game using the game you saved as single player. Join the first farm and you own the periphery of the map.
Remove the junk using construction menu 👍
demolish the blue wagon under the shed... that u cant get in under... and sell the fueltanks and get some good startmoney...
I’ve got all collectibles except one. It’s a pig, and opposite the sheep dialog, behind a wall and a green bin. I can’t seem to collect it, because the dialog opens. Any help would be welcome. I’m on PS5 too

That said I’ve not sold anything other than the fendt and tipper trailer to fund a new grain trailer as the starting fields were big and let’s be honest a bigger one was needed, but yeah I wanna earn my money and play realistic may use auto bale loader though but unload it manually depends how busy I get 👍🚜
Did loads of straw bales,and in the end you cant put them im the cow trigger, only accepts loose straw
Hi I'm on PC and have tried to my end to water the cows to no avail, the trough will not let you input water at all, any idea's please!!

Also, i think the starting equipment is too O.P.
Selling the dog house, fuel tank and fertiliser buy point thingy get you £1.5 million.
Missing sell points for Sorghum, Oats, Grapes, Olives, etc etc.
I get the feeling the map was rushed out to be the first "proper" map on the modhub....
He is apparently already updating it to add the ability to sell the missing crops. Not sure on the logic of the amount of money you can get from the dog house, fuel tanks and water tank. Just short of £2m I think in all. May use some of it to buy a placeable area and add in the factories that I want to use by the biogas plant.

My camera settings seem to have changed on my game so when I’m in vehicles, I get a zoomed in view.

There are camera options in the settings menu, I think one is to reset vehicle view or something. May be worth a look.
