To answer your question Dan, I love aviation as a whole. But what FUELS my passion? My dad was a pilot for Kenn Borek air for twenty years! He flew Twin otters, and was in Antarctica for a couple months. I think that’s where I get my love for aviation.

you said they are both part of one world (lounge access) which is true.. but what I think you meant to say was that IB and BA are owned by the same parent company IAG and thats the main reason you get lounge access. lol your reason is less significant. x
The new A350s have doors in the suites. By the way and as something anecdotalical Santiago “alone” for the Spanish people is only one. The one which all Santiagos come from. The rest are “de Chile”, “de Guayaquil” “de Cuba” 😂 DO&CO food and especially the chocolate mousse cake is amazing

I did the same route in 2019 but in an A340-600. Nice flight. I couldn't see any rare Boeing aircraft, was it a B-25 (Ejército del Aire had some)?
