This is the Ending / Final Boss of Serious Sam 3: BFE.
Also, I find it hilarious that Sam knows Mental's phone number.
This game is a comedy and action man there always some kind of joke coming

Considering that this is Before First encounter, he might be a little less experienced here than in First and Second encounter.
@@phillipwalling7470 I really doubt he's actually tired, since he goes on to fight non-stop for several days after this 5 second break, If I were to Hazzard a guess, I'd say this is him taking a breather, while it's safe to say his stamina is infinite, the greatest force pushing Sam is his determination, and this is where it has been challenged the most so far, and he is being mentally overwhelmed.
You are mistaken. Sam isn't tired, he is actually pushing down on his leg so hard and fast that the camera can't see it, which causes the earthquake and ugh-zan to wake up from his nap.

I like how this game ends with earth being destroyed by a dad joke, it perfectly encompasses the absurd/badass theme of serious Sam, and it adds to Mentals personality of which we don't get very much.

Oh yeah, first encounter is on ancient egypt then he took off in the space ship at the end lol how could I forget. And yeah SS 2 looks like a nintendo game. So cartoonish. Only played the first and SS3 though.

Only in the first encounter when Sam arrives in Egypt, it's 1378 BC, not 3000 BC. Probably a developer oversight.

Things you need to know about this boss fight: Always stay in the air, never go down unless you have to wait for your jet pack to cool. ALWAYS go down after he has fired his big blue plasma projectile. NEVER go down while he is firing. THe projectiles are homing, and they will one-shot you. After he fires 3 normal projectiles and one blue, you have a respiro time, in which you can get down to cool your jet pack, and get back up in the air. Don't rush to get the rods. Just kill his minions with devastator or cannon. You have goodies like cannonballs and 100 health pack scattered, so you should be ok. Sometimes, it can be quite hard to stick that in his back, so to make it as easy as possible, gain thrust momentum, stop, and exactly as the momentum stops, you are pretty much inert in the air, so you can reliably stick it in his back. Oh, and Always get down to cool your jetpack whenever you get the chance. Don't bother shooting at him unless he has all of the rods in his back. With patience and this information, you can consistently beat this boss on any difficulty.
Eh, I usually finish him with 3 rods in but good tips nonetheless.

lol they're not bad, they're laced with the good humor SS is known for ("Judy Mental" lmao amirite?) Plus Sam always came off as a square enough dude, tough but never an asshole, unlike the bad and chauvinistic humor of the legendarily shitty Duke Nukem Forever.

I honestly think that Sam is probably the most badass fps character he literally kills stuff like that without wearing any armour and stuff (I know you can pick up armour in the game but in the cut scenes it doesn't show it) and he knows how to use every weapon when he first picks it up and he is the most funniest aswell he is just fuxking baddass

This was one of the coolest games I've ever played with one of the best boss battles. It was so unexpected to be almost invincible and then have to face this impossible boss.
Oh please, you think this boss is challenging? You should see Ugh-Zan III from Serious Sam: The First Encounter or Ugh-Zan VI from Serious Sam 4!

im a big SS fan,when i saw SS3 BFE trailer it looked to me like COD so i gave up on that,my friend had the game so i played it a little,and I HAD TO GET THAT GAME! SS3 BFE even better from the other games in my opinion :)

No, not really. Sam isn't dead, he went through the Time Lock before Earth got destroyed, so he's "currently" in the past kicking ass. So if you want to know what happens to him, go play Serious Sam: The First Encounter and go from there.

Yep serious sam: First encounter is sequel to Serious sam 3 :D so Serious Sam 3 was first then First encounter and second encounter. Serious Sam 2... I don't really know. SS 2 wasn't good for me. And SS4 I think will be prequel but I really want to SS4 be sequel, becouse for me if SS4 will be prequel Sam won't be serious :D

Id say that Serious Engine 3.5 is way more impressive than Unreal Engine 3 considering how massive the levels are and how many enemies they manage to cram in on them at the same time.

Actually there are 4 Serious Sam's games . Serious Sam the First Encounter, Serious Sam the second Encounter, Serious Sam 2 and Serious Sam 3 . But all in all i prefer more First&Second Encounter , Serious Sam 2 is way too cartoonish and lost interest and Serious Sam 3 is too overhyped doesn't have the real feeling of what Serious Sam was , they ruined it by making the game look like a CoD,Battlefield stuff instead to keep it Egyptian or more Hellish would be better imo . Oh yes i forgot that stupid Serious Sam HD shit, only cash/grab that has nothing to do with SS-series at all.

Sorry but the HD Serious Sam wasn't needed , it isn't what true fans atended, just a stupid cash/grab for the Game realisators is all i see in that , they could at least if they were intellectual enough to make a whole new game from Serious Sam in HD instead of a stupid copy of their previous game . Would have been more appreciated in my opinion . Tired to see people complain some videos aren't HD on youtube but were their PC back then trully HD? HD Screen, HD Graphical Card? Guess not so much knew back then what it was like surely not a 8 or 12 year old kid since those games aren't for their ages to begin with . Serious Sam 3 lost the hype sorry , the magic was done . Sincerely i hope they will never make a Serious Sam 4 it gets old . See how far they ruined another franchise Wolfenstein started as an "EPIC" game Wolfenstein 3D then Return to Castle Wolfenstein then the rest became nonsense too , surely ones stupid super futuristic weapons took the majority of the game and the New Order had nice cutscenes but the game itself is bleh... A game franchise should be always a short one and a surprise then it should stop. Another franchise that is going downhill is Resident Evil , they don't know what to invent anymore , all became more of a CoD linear game + RE-6 looked more of a Doom3 mixed with CoD and Dead Space .

+defiraphi Can't really agree. The HD Encounters were really fun to play, even more than the old ones. Serious Sam 2 is a fun game, but the worst Sam Game for me. Serious Sam 3... it gave me the old Sam Feeling, but the middle Game was quite boring. The First, Last and DLC Levels are really Fun to play.

Then there's the one-liners, only they're closer to two-liners. The major difference is the massive amounts of enemies Sam has. It was made to make FPS-players happy, and it did, there's no arguing with that.
I'm just talking about the character alone. When you play a lot of Duke Nukem, then play Serious Sam, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Games got a pretty simple plot. Large alien invasion force led by Mental launches a full scale invasion on earth. Humanity is pushed back and is soon on the brink of extinction. So the only way for humanity to stand a chance is for Sam to use the timelock and travel to the past and cripple Mentals forces before they gain momentum like they did in this present timeline. Generally speaking though the games mostly about blowing the crap out of every horde of enemies in sight with big guns :)
