I felt bad for everyone living in countries that had no access to PSN account creation. I don't know why they even sold the game in those markets when they stated PSN accounts were apparently always going to be required. Makes me scratch my head!
I personally think it's not a reason to boycott the game, but there is definitely some making up to do and big decisions to make on Sony's side. I wouldn't want to screw up a game that has been such a success! I'm not saying my opinion is the correct one, let me know what you think in the comments below!
Sorry, but in today's climate your advice is very detrimental. The community manager handled it badly, the whole announcement was done badly, and the followup is causing massive strain in relationships for both this game and future games. If I was the CEO, housecleaning would be part of the resolution. This was not handled well at all.
