But the pitchfork wielding social media masses were successful in not only getting Alexis dropped from his record label and ending any chance of another Daughters record, they even pulled all his art off every platform, including Bandcamp. If he’s indeed guilty, I’m all for accountability by route of due process. What I cannot condone is censorship based on allegations that were used as a promotional tool ruining a man’s career.

People who have been in abusive relationships are significantly more likely to enter into another abusive relationship. It can distort their perception of abuse which makes it seem like the abuse is really love plus there's usually massive manipulation going on which makes it even more difficult for the victim to see the situation clearly. I suggest doing some googling because there are articles which can explain this much better than me.

Yeah - his ex made allegations, very publicly, used them as a tool to promote her record, but didn’t file charges. Alexis has filed suit for defamation, but so far that’s the only legal action taken.
But the pitchfork wielding social media masses were successful in not only getting Alexis dropped from his record label and ending any chance of another Daughters record, they even pulled all his art off every platform, including Bandcamp.
If he’s indeed guilty, I’m all for accountability by route of due process. What I cannot condone is censorship based on allegations that were used as a promotional tool ruining a man’s career.

People who have been in abusive relationships are significantly more likely to enter into another abusive relationship. It can distort their perception of abuse which makes it seem like the abuse is really love plus there's usually massive manipulation going on which makes it even more difficult for the victim to see the situation clearly. I suggest doing some googling because there are articles which can explain this much better than me.
