I like thick cushioned shoes for helping out my demolished right foot (motorcycle accident), but I find that shoes with really low drops fatigue my foot less and do far less damage to my foot, ankle, and shin.

I use the more 3 as my long run and it absolutely perfect. I have just about 100 miles in mine so far and I do believe it will last longer than 300 miles for the average person. The wear on the outsole slows down in time and the midsole is pretty much exactly the same since my first run. I'm planning on putting in 300 miles in mine and I'm a heavy runner.
@@kuriosites yeah lol I don't think there's any way the more 3 would last as long as a bondi. I had the bondi 6 and it's true, that shoe just keeps on going. I enjoyed the bondi but the more3 feels much better. To be honest, I would buy 2 more3's for the distance of one bondi. Oh, and the more3, like the bondi, has some energy return, it has a softer landing with better toe-off and better rocker. 🙂

@@kuriosites : I could answer since I have a new pair of more V3 (50 miles) and something like 300 miles in my Bondi 7 clearly new balance tried to do a hoka there the differences between more V3 and the bondi : - bondi have a larger platform, and thus is more stable (way more stable) - the more v3 midsole is weird to me, it's soft but it compress slowly, and that makes a firm landing when running, but soft when walking. The bondi is the opposite, the foam really compresses when you run, and you sink into the midsole - the more v3 have a more pronounced rocker, which makes easier to run at tempo paces, but because of it there's less midsole at the toes - the upper of the more v3 is stretchy, while the bondi isn't overall, morev3 makes it faster to run because of firmer landing and the more pronounced rocker but the bondi is my favorite, as for me those a recovery/slow day shoe, and I just want maximum comfort (= soft landing, cushion, stability), and I don't care about performance
I've been using the NB Hierro V6 as my easy day road/trail runners and that Fresh Foam is amazing. I cannot imagine getting the More V3.....as in More Fresh Foam, .......Yes please!😁
You probably wont read even read this, but I just felt compelled to thank you anyway I’m an avid gym goer/fitness enthusiast who for the longest time has neglected any sort of running/cardio. Recently, I’ve really started to like going on slow paced but lengthy jogs but my feet and knees just absolutely kill me the next day because the ultraboosts are really a fashion or walking shoes, not really built for running. I only recently found out about your channel and straight from binge watching at least 10 videos (some videos repeated more than twice), I bought my New Balance fresh foam more v3 because of you. They have been nothing short of amazing for everyday runs. I don’t think I’ll ever be a racer or a marathon type of runner. I’m just a dude who likes to go for some slow paced scenic jogs to help put in cardio for the week. I must say that your recommendation has been spot on. You just gained a subscriber in me
Really like the More V3 and so far did a 100km in it. Perfect replacement for my Endorphin Shift. And i'm switching over from Hoka to New Balance, they are doing so good recently. Picked them up for 129 euro's so definately an 8+ shoe for me!

I'm a big 1080v11 fan. I've had 5 of the color-ways (blue, black, gray, red, yellow currently). I've run over 400km in each and the outsole below is not the most durable and does show wear after that point. The exposed midsole also wears too. I bought the MoreV3 for my num who is now getting in to a bit of running and I want to protect her legs.
I have Just bought NB 1080 ran 120 km and i am pleased of Wheight comfort ad energy. Not very steady you have to pay attention Think for Daily and only trainer Is more versatile what do you think

I am new and still confused, I have wide foot and high arch but it seems I overpronate. I didnt do gait analysis because at my store it will cost me €50. Once at a shop they asked me to squat to see my foot, when I do it at home I see my ankles slightly roll inwards (against each other). I always felt when I walk or run the pressure is around my big toe, not on the outter side of my foot. Not sure if I should try a stability shoe but I like the squishy and bouncy feeling, makes it more fun🤣
Is the More V3 more stable then the 1080 v11 ?! I overpronate a bit but the 1080 was good enough for me, and I wonder if the More could be even better in the stability. Thanks.
My biggest gripe about More v2 is the tongue slides all around. I’m so glad to see that they have the lace loop on the tongue to keep it centered, does the tongue still move around or does it stay centered?
@@glassmw9823 👍I have ran in my new more v3's 4 times and have had to stop running to adjust the tongue a couple times on each run. IMHO, New balance was dumb to not atleast semi gusset the tongue. I prefer asics novablast 2
@@Strizzle81 yeh gussetting would have been better. In the V2s I had to adjust the tongue by the time I walked from the shoe closet, through my garage, to the car in the driveway. The cushioning and feel was great, but that tongue was awful. I haven’t had much trouble with the 3s. I’ve heard great things about the novas.
I would have Courtney Dauwalter over and ask her why so many people give her advice on diet when they can't do close to what she does! I think she has the perfect recipe for ultra running and that's a lifestyle that promotes joy 😁
İ probably do something wrong with More v3 or the foam in them has an expiration date? I now at 33 km after four runs and they feel very very firm. Moreover they force me to start running landing onto my toes after many years again because it's only the way to protect legs . Landing on heels or a bit more on the middle of my feet is painful. I immediately feel an impact from the road on my knees. I bought rebel v 3 as well and it is magnificent. I forget about what's on my feet and enjoy thel run or even a "flight". Just don't understand what softness of More v3 everybody is talking about. Only positive thing about them is that I paid only 75$ on sale. But now I would not pay 50$ for a new pair.

Picked up the More V3 and after my first run noticed the insoles are like paper, such great amount of foam and cushioning but the insoles aren't very comfy. Did anyone else find this? They're very very thin. Other than that, great trainer!
Yeah this is a beautiful shoe but the durability concern is a deal breaker for me personally I am looking for a shoe to give to me and ultra comfort while I work and stand and walk all day I walk 5-10km a day at work and I stand up straight for the rest of the time. This shoe would be fantastic but I am concerned about the durability
New Balance should work on a better outsole rubber like ASICS AHAR. On all of my new balance shoes I noticed the outsole rubber being too soft and thus wearing too fast.
You dragged down the total score so much cause of the durability prediction! I think it will last alot more, that much stack height and the fresh foam x doesnt degrade nearly as fast as the hoka shoes eva. Outsole will probably survive 500, just a little early degradation then it slows down.
Great, great shoe with one caveat. The tongue is ridiculously long and travels medial or lateral with ease. Still, it's my favorite shoe! Of course, the 1080v12, Novablast 2 and Nike Invincible Run are right on par with this Tongue Monster. BTW it's $115 EVERYWHERE right now, and that's a STEAL!
@@jamesb.walker9177 the weight of the more 3 was its biggest drawback for me. I’ve learned over the past couple years that a lighter shoe seems to fit what I’m looking for. I also run in the Speed and Pro and 1080v11, so the added weight was noticeable.
@@mikebonner4181 Very understandable people are not the same and what may be good for one i can be bad for others. To me these shoes are focused on Easy, Recovery and easy long runs and for this purpose I only look for max comfort, fit and response that makes it fun to ride. This is exactly what the More 3 brings to me, excellent fit, superb comfort and a midsole with that gives really nice momentum while running this miles. Weight is a factor but for faster and up tempo shoes. By the way while running on the Max Road3 I get to fell the PODS on the outsole and it is a real minus to me.
It may not be a “tweener” run-wise, but it is the best tweener I’ve come across from a stability to neutral shoe pov. Very supportive with a wide base underfoot. I wish I had found this shoe when it came out. Would have saved me some money spent on others. This shoe is worth the cost!
OPINION: price should be discussed but not factored in to the price of the shoe. A review should be based on the quality of the shoe, a number attached to it does not affect how it performs.
I remember the NB More V1, probably the worst shoe I've ever tried. It had a huge stack height, but no cushioning at all. Hard as a rock, no response. The heel area was the tourture treatment. Pods that seen to jab the sides of your heels as you ran. I'll never try another More in my lifetime.
The More V1 was one of the worst shoes I've ever worn. Surprised the model survived past that, but glad that New Balance actually turned it into something decent!

Have you run in the Bondi? If so, what are your thoughts on durability compared to that shoe? I've been using that and I'm going to get 600+ easy.

I've got the v2 and unfortunately the outsole durability is pretty bad. Hope it's improving in the v3
