Sarah, dont worry about piggies and kitties. I have always had both, and the kitties normally ignore the piggies. I have a kittie who is the same age as my piggies and he thought they were kittens too so he tried to wrestle, piggies nipped him now he cuddles with them in their cage and eats their hay, he identifies as a piggie and we're okay with that. 😊 Two of my cats were feral and still go out and they still hunt but they have no interest in the piggies. My herd is in an open cage in area freely accessible to the kitties and no interest. They seem to accept them as part of the kitty colony. Now birds and hamsters a hard no.
I have two guinea pigs, three cats and one dog. All get on well ( supervised!) My cats arent really hunters ( within reason) piggies and cats can work!
You two are a great combo, you with the content and Josh with the cinematics and the banter between you two is what gives me life🎉
i also LOVE tending to animal care and feeding routines etc its a hobbie almost to just care for their every need its so interesting and fun
I became a squirrel mom of 2 early this spring, not on purpose but I'm all in now lol! 💞🐿🐿 I went from horses and piggies to horses and squirrels (+ cats, dogs, lop ear rabbit & parakeets that I co-parent with my mom lol). The squirrels and parakeets live in my bedroom where they are always safe from the carnivores. I still miss my piggies every single day. They are in my dreams almost every night. We went through a lot together for the 6 and 7 years of their full lives. I got the momma, "Angel" when I was living in France and it turned out she was pregnant. She gave birth to my 3 precious boys, "Doodles", "Munchkin" and "Beau". I brought them with me when I moved back to the US. I kept them for the rest of their lives. My heart was crushed when the last one passed of old age and I swore no more small pets. (I've had hundreds throughout my life.) And then...while I was outside grooming my Haflinger horse, 2 super tiny starving orphaned baby squirrels wobbled up to me (in my horse's stall). I now happily have small pets again 🥰💗🐿🐿 The Universe felt I wasn't done yet lol
I relate to you a lot with the different kinds of animals. I used to volunteer for rescues with dogs and bunnies (2 seperate rescues). Now I am 39 have 2 kids, take care of my teen orphaned cousin, 2 dogs, a cat, 2 piggies, a hamster, betta and a snail and 2 cockateils! Haha. I will not add any more pets to my home, but once our cat, hamster and piggies pass (our dogs and birds are younger) I intend on fostering birds and small pets. I will always have my birds and atleast 1 dog for the rest of my life God willing. But beyond that I want to just foster and stop taking all the animals in need of a home off of FB!! My heart goes out to all those scenarios but I need to place myself in a position I can do the most good and I believe that will be in fostering.
I have 3 cats. It's the best! I used to have just pigs back in the day. I would take them with me when I would go visit my parents who had 2 cats. I would bring them out for supervised playtime, and it was actually very cute because the cats would just watch them and every so often reach out and give the pig a very gentle pat on the head. 😄 These were older cats who didn't have a strong prey drive though.
I loved the "Sorry Saysay" part. My name is also Sara, and I nicknamed myself Saysay. No one else calls me that though. I just use it sometimes when I talk/think to myself. 😄

I had two guinea pigs at age 14...very apparent i didn't do a lot of things right but i did my best as guinea pig mom for 7 years 😊 there angels now but i love watching your videos, reminds me of the good times with my baby Bella and Becca

I would have guessed early 30's for you both though i have no clue who would be the older one
But if your open cat proofing ideas replacing the baby gate (or even the actual door if your worried about adding holes to the frame) with a screen door would allow air flow while keeping the jungle predator free you can probably find a decent door on free groups or make one if you have the tools or know someone with the tools
I have one tattoo it’s a memorial tattoo, I love watching your videos even though my little piggie went to a much better home. She couldn’t move into my new living situation. I think you have about 45 tattoos. Poor Tonka! But she’s watching you and Josh from above! My little pup is a rescue! Rescue is amazing! Keep going strong!
I have 5 cats, all of which were feral, and 3 guinea pigs., The cats are all neutered obviously. They just sit and watch them with their little arms tucked. No problems at all. My dog is a little more excited about them, especially when they squeal, so they have their own room just in case.

My youngest came home with our 1st, Cinnamon. Then I found your channel, the pig room and Saskia and learned A LOT about piggies...which led to me looking for the perfect buddy for my sweet/sensitive boy. I then found 8 week old Twix. 3 months past and Twix brother (there were 8 babies) didn't get a home. I had been going to see and hold him every day at lunch. So when he was left alone, I brought him home. And YES the brothers remembered each other and Cinnamon was more then happy to have another friend.
I also have 3 cats and leave my door open. They are use to our hamster and everyone lives happily.
Also I feel like we could be best friends 🤣

Love you guy's! I used to raise mice when my girls were little. I always had them as pets growing up. Last summer my house became infested with wild mice and i had no choice but to get rid of them it was awful. That was so cute what you did with Heidi

Our pigs do not leave that room. My dog has a very high prey drive. She catches and kills squirrels, chipmunks, groundhogs, birds… so the pigs wouldn’t stand a chance against her.

Love this video! I switch to small pet select because of you guys :). I have three girl piggies currently. When I was 13 I got a Guinea pig boy and he was alone. I had no idea what was the “correct” way to take care of him(but he did live for 8 years). With the knowledge I know now I would have done things way differently. So I agree Guinea pigs are a lot of responsibility. I wanted to ask how do you guys have dogs and pigs? I would love to adopt a puppy. Do you have any tips?

How would you introduce someone to guinea pigs? I dont know if you remember, but I just got a pregnant guinea pig (she gave birth! 4 babies!) and I've NEVER had one before! I'm in the works of giving her a big enclosure that'll take up most of my room. What are some tips and suggestions you have for first time pig owners?

Do you recommend baths? My pigs are healthy. I read conflicting things online.
hi! guinea pigs actually do most of the cleaning they will ever need but if you feel like your pigs need a bath i’ve heard people recommend one bath every 6 months to a year!

Motoro is not very social and does not want a friend. She’s VERY selective. So she will live out her remaining days as the queen on the house just like she likes.
Oh, ya now I remember in a haul you said anything that Tonka has momo has to have and then Tonka was Queen and now momo knows it's her time to shine as in be Queen 👑
