Damn, I miss this man. I did the Broadway Bomb in 2011. I was one of the last ones to make it, but I was just glad to finish. I recently got back into skating after many years not touching it. Forgot how much I loved it.
I tried to get back but my sense of balance is terrible now. Maybe I should just do scooters.
Y'all should both try and come out to this year's Broadway Bomb

I had to watch the Daniel Lindsey footage. Seemed pushing uphill helped him really take the advantage.

I didn't even know they were awarding places. I just thought it was for the fun of the cruise. Nice uninterrupted longboarding down a long street.
Yeah it's actually a race, who can get to the bill the fastest

That detour at 16:30 down a closed street to bypass traffic was some sharp thinking.
Didn't the guy in the beginning said you have to take a left on 48th all the way to Lexington, then a right, etc..? And if you don't, you will be disqualified?
yea.. but the bomb is bigger than him or his ego. You cant change the route, otherwise its not the broadway bomb.

@@DanA-ls8og That I do. And I plan to take first next year, not without a neck and neck battle with Jayson and Titus. It wouldn't be worth it without that. I think it's the beginning of a friendly rivalry.

the EUC's are the future
Yea for lookin like a stiff, soulless, weenie in full moto armor. Sure thing, then its for sure the future. EUC cant even touch the gumption of a raw push down Manhattan. You haven't earned the speed that you ride at.

@@fishpeople240 because then you would know that you have earned some of that speed for Shure
@@lefotografion Pressing a button on a wii remote, while you stand static on a piece of machinery is not earning that speed. Talk to me when you can push 8.5 miles in 30 mins. Thats earning speed, not you manufacturing it with a clunky, soulless, electric motor.
EUC is not the future of longboarding because those are fundamentally different things. What you guys do is something completely different, so please dont co opt my sport. Feel free to do your own thing and have your own events, but dont act like you are a better version of us.
OR... how's about we don't endanger ourselves and others by racing in this fashion on public roads? Long uninterrupted straight-aways exist in NYC so I truly don't understand the need to put yourselves and others in danger as you zip through red lights and past incoming trucks with no regard for traffic laws.
