Hi Sam, Thanks for the reply. I managed to figure it out. In my situation I had the 'direct control of AF points' selected in the multi-controller/Multi function. Regards, Mark
to access this layout on the screen you have to stay in the MANUAL mode, nor in the sports, landscape, portrait etc etc..(select it in the wheel in the corner up-left side of ur camera.).regards!
is there a way to leave the horizon function on/viewable at all times on the LCD? the 7d does it, just want to know if the 60d can as well? I can't figure it out.
Hi Mark yes I did. Basically my settings were wrong...however you have to be in manual mode on the dial. The quick menu appears when pressed in m, av, tv or p modes with different prioties eg shutter speed or aperture but not in live mode or on any of the automatic settings. Hope this helps.
I have recently bought the 60d when I originally had the camera the quick control button appeared when pressed now I press it does not! Don't know how to get it to appear have tried in all different modes. Pls can someone help me!!! I have looked through so many tutorials now, and am having trouble operating camera shutter speed and aperture without this menu!
why can't i access this layout on the screen? i cant even turn the AF on. it just zooms. this camera is driving me crazy! i so desperately want to learn how to use it properly! please help!
Press the Camera Access button (it has a camera symbol and a red dot beside it) to the left of the AF-ON button before you press the Quick Control Button.
