So, I made this and then put it in the silicone mold in the freezer (so the brown bits were mixed throughout the butter rather than separated) and they are amazing! Perfect to eat when you have a craving for something sweet. After eating these, I realized my craving is really for the caramel flavor (rather than the sweet) and these are perfection. Love them!

I use a silicone 'mini muffin' mold that has 24 smooth sided, slightly sloped cups. I fill the cups about a half an inch deep / less than two TBS. They kind of look like a Resse's when they're popped out. I find eating one as I open my eating window curbs my appetite and I eat less overall. They are very satisfying and satiating. I've used my 'coffee bean' mold thinking they'd be helpful for portion control but always found I'd go back for one or two (or3) more :^>
Made my first batch of BB Bites last night.. wow did not know what I was missing, I do find them super salty and will make some with unsalted butter and add a small amount of salt myself... will try this as I would like to see if I will use it in my tea... Could you room temp butter bites and then whisk those i wonde... like you would whip normal butter....
I've done regular brown butter bites. I like them when they first harden but then later they get too salty. Am I doing something wrong? Im using salted butter.

I wonder If I should be careful in consuming butter like cheese in my case.
I really love your cooking tutorials! You have been very helpful!! Thank you!! 💓
I have heard of some people getting triggered by the butter to then eat too much...but I weigh and track what I'm eating for a bit while doing a high fat version of carnivore so I don't seem to overeat them
@ks857 It's been 10 months since your comment, just curious as to how you are doing with the butter? How much are you eating a day?
I am new to this, so I'm binge watching all these videos!! Lol And your right, I don't see many people saying that they are compelled to keep eating butter, so I was just curious to see if it leveled out for you.
I have seen some people saying up to 6-8 tablespoons a day is ok, but idk 🤷♀️
Kerry gold salted is addictive to me . ❤️
What about people that don’t like cow milk? I think there are butters in the market made without cow milk, but I was wondering if this method you are demonstrating here will work the same way? I really like your channel, thank you
I would add a little raw honey and cinnamon.. I can’t wait to make this… thank you
Sounds great!
This is great, Lisa! Thank you! I can’t find the link to the glass jars.
Also, what version of the KitchenAid do you have?
Hi Rita, the link to those jars is in the description under the video. You have to click that little word "MORE" and the full description with links comes up. My KitchenAid is about 25 yrs old, no idea what version it is other than "old version" LOL
I’ve seen those jars at Walmart, better hurry though, they sell out fast before the holidays!
I don't own a Kitchen Aid mixer, so what do you think would happen if I used an immersion blender?
Hand mixer would work fine and probably an immersion blender too.
Let me know if you try!
@@carnivoredoctor Will do!
Just on medium heat?
I have a high BTU gas burner that I make it on so it is just barely above LOW
I use a silicone 'mini muffin' mold that has 24 smooth sided, slightly sloped cups.
I fill the cups about a half an inch deep / less than two TBS. They kind of look like a Resse's when they're popped out. I find eating one as I open my eating window curbs my appetite and I eat less overall. They are very satisfying and satiating.
I've used my 'coffee bean' mold thinking they'd be helpful for portion control but always found I'd go back for one or two (or3) more :^>
Is there anything you can do if your butter separates while you are melting/stirring it!
Just let it keep keep cooking and bubbling and sizzling
I wanted to know what you use it for. Do you just eat it as is or do you use it in recipes, etc?😊
Both!
Yes this video right here is showing how I whip the browned butter and store it
Please comment if you know. I read ice cream is bad for us because of the hot to cold process. Would this be the same for making brown butter?
Can anyone tell me if cooking the butter results in it loosing its Vit D K2 health benefit?
I've done regular brown butter bites. I like them when they first harden but then later they get too salty. Am I doing something wrong? Im using salted butter.
It is all personal preference. Try making a batch with 2 sticks of butter and do one salted the other unsalted. OR make a batch with unsalted butter and add the small amount of salt that you prefer.
@@carnivoredoctor I will try that. I tried all unsalted and it needed some salt. 😆
Do you leave it on the counter? Is it still easily spreadable once it at room temp?
Yes I leave mine on the counter and is spreadable
Nice! Awesome! Heading to store now......
Can I use ghee from store for this recipe?
Hi Nelya... I tested out making browned ghee and it does nothing but heat up so I'd say No to your question :(
@@carnivoredoctor Thank you very much. I watched your video on the beach and I have one more question. how to get rid of cravings for sweets? I am addicted to erythritol. I need help, don't know where to start... thanks in advance.
Why not a blender or stick blender? How long to hand whip?
This is how Texas Roadhouse makes their cinnamon butter for their rolls
Dr if you like this salty, I bet you would like Vegimite from AUSTRALIA!!
👍🏼
For us in the UK can you please say how much in either oz's or grams a stick of butter is please.
4 oz or 113 gms is a "stick of butter"
@@carnivoredoctor many thanks.
Thank you. But what do you use it for???
The answer is written right below the video but you have to click the ^ little down mark to open up everything I wrote (also need to click “more” to fully see what is written. I went to it and copied and pasting here the part that answers your question 😃
Favorite things to do with the Whipped Brown Butter:
Have fun with your creativity!
Try an unsalted version and add in cinnamon and vanilla bean pod seeds (or some vanilla extract) when whipping this up and put into your coffee or tea for an amazing buttery/nutty/toffee/vanilla/cinnamon taste sensation!!!
Make some fun savory versions by using salted butter and adding in some of your favorite spice mixtures and but on meat or veggies (if you eat them😛)…..
Put the whipped browned butter into silicone molds like I showed in this video and freeze them for an awesome treat right out of the freezer.
These can greatly help get over cravings when trying to avoid all carbs/sugars/processed foods and you're Jonesing for some chips or cookies.
Use as an easy delicious way to bump up your fat macros when on a ketogenic/carnivore high fat lifestyle
@@carnivoredoctor Thank you, I missed that... Funny, because I was thinking it could be interesting to try in coffee... hmmm... I'm not much for snacking anymore, so I'm a bit afraid the butter treats, whipped or not, could be a slippery slope.... 😏
