Good morning Chef Jeffrey! I really enjoyed this tutorial on canning jelly. I haven't did it in years but watching you has really inspired me to do it. I am 70 yrs old now and my canning days have seemed to slow down. I love to can bread and butter pickles, apple butter and pickled beets. They are my favorite 💗. My mother canned everything. Jelly, Jams, preserves and all the above!!! Grew up on a garden and fruit trees. Chef Jeffrey you are one amazing cook. I love the way you conserve. Continue to keep stirring up your gifts!! 🍇🫐🍑🍒🍓🍏🍎🍐
I’m trying to keep up with your videos, I watch every free minute I get, I make my grape the same way using the Welches juice. I just gather some wild papaws and made a jam out of the fruit and a jelly from the peal, today I’m canning apples and apple sauce, it’s that time of year here, I’d love to see ways you use apples! It never lets up here, trying to Preserve all that the Lord has blessed us with for hard times, grocery store prices is No joke! Love you Chef, I hope everyone is having a blessed day! Rarely do I have a jelly that doesn’t set but Don’t throw it away, I just use it as a Syrup for like pancakes and waffles or to add to my teas.
My mother grew concord grapes & oh my goodness, she made juice, jelly & jam. She would cook those grapes & hang them from a cheese cloth. Such good memories & watching you makes me remember those times….
I remember as a kid when my mom made jelly she would put a layer of parriffin wax on top of the jelly. Then when we went to use it, we would cut through it to remove the wax in order to use the jelly. The jelly would need to be refrigerated until we used it up.
Saving the best for last,,, Chef Jeffery,, you my friend are one of the best as well,,, keep being yourself,, because the world will be a better place with people like you in it,,, 👍👍👍
Good morning Chef Jeffrey, YES, YES, YES..Grape Juice was the Communion Wine and broken up Saltine Crackers...that's why I wanted to join Church as a kid🤭😂😂😂 I will be making me some Jelly. Thank You Chef🙏🏾♥️
When I was a child, my mom would buy a bushel of apples at this time of year. She made apple pies and apple crisps and froze them for when the snow was flying. She also made yummy applesauce. She never discarded all the peelings and cores, she made apple jelly with them! That was the absolute best tasting jelly you ever ate. I remember that she didn’t have to add any pectin because there is already pectin in apples. I don’t recall any wax on top, but I have seen other folks use it. I think she put hers in a boiling water bath and sealed them. Good old days.
Hey Chef Jeffery! I love Grape 🍇 Jelly. That will go good with my butter biscuits and a cup of decaf coffee. 😂 That looks interesting to make. 👍 Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day. Enjoy your vacation in Vegas. 🙏 💘

Hey Chef, do you have a recipe for muscadine(spelling) jelly? I just picked a "ton" of them and need to make some jelly. My mama and Nanny used to make it but I don't remember the recipe. Thank you so much!
Your video popped up in my feed while I was scrolling through looking for something to watch while I de-stem seven walmart sacks and a fiesta pack box full of Concord grapes. Honestly, knowing you miss them so much I'd totally ship you some if I wasn't all the way in the frozen north. I still would if it wouldn't cost an arm and a leg and my firstborn chld to ship, only to have them completely fermented by the time they arrived!
I woke up sick and the first thing I see after I get myself calmed down and I'm resting is Chef Jeff and I didn't care how I felt I was going to watch it. Thank you for doing grape I like grape that's one of my favorites. I want to make this I have a question on your recipe for making it, it says when all the jars are filled and the lids are on to turn them upside down for 15 minutes . So this would be good enough and I wouldn't have to give them a bath in boiling water which I dreaded. The reason I'm asking is I don't see it on the recipe to put it in the boiling water for 15 minutes. And I love that I don't see anything about boiling the cans you put into a pot for 15 minutes. I have never canned so I have no clue what I'm doing but if this keeps me from having to boil them it will make a happy woman. Thanks a lot chef Jeff God bless you

Looks delicious! If it doesn't set, can liquid be used as a syrup for pancakes?
No
