Happy 30th Anniversary Nevermind!🤘 Me and my friends made our own full band version of On A Plain thought you guys might would like! ua-cam.com/video/HGumjp1AWFM/v-deo.html
One of the best song by Nirvana... tellement planante et puissante. Quel muzicoz ne voudrait pas composer un morceau de cette trempe... complètement ouf...
Funny thing this was the B Side to Smells Like Teen Spirit. When I heard it I thought "Wow this is so different then what I feel I am fed." Then I flipped to B Side and thought, "Yup, this wild shit is all I will hunt from this band on."
So crazy to see them just jamming out in a club like this in 1989, a couple regular dudes, and then thinking about how absolutely insane their lives would become just a few short years later...
nah dude, its his best period cuz he had fun on stage, not that popular and i'm quite sure he wasn't on heroin till 91, so prob thats why he described this period as his favourite
You know what's weird is was when the never mind album came out back in 1991 we just never expected Nirvana to be as popular or Alice in Chains or any other band at that time to be popular we just never really thought about it got it you know it was kind of like a you know us take training Woodstock at that time so you know I really feel honored to have been a part of that era and I treasured I always will and you know my son's almost 15 and he's just die hard like Nirvana and you know
What are the lyrics to this version? It sounds like a combination of the original and the 1992 tracks. What I can make out at the end of the chorus is: "If you die, by the way Hope I die, before I wake" Most of the verses are just an amalgamation of the two recorded versions it seems.
Still cant figure out how his voice isn't absolutely killing him after singing like this. Maybe the heroin lets you scream at the top of your lungs like it's nothing.
I think it was pretty rough on him, at least at some point. I believe there was an interview where he said there were times where he coughed up blood after singing.
He mainly achieved this through constant cigarette chain smoking. He has mentioned it before. It numbs the throat and makes it easier to achieve that “sandpaper” like quality
Of course. Pretty sure it was Mosrite because it has those Bison horn-body. Ramone's used them exclusively. Punk guitar ha ha. Sorry it can be Vox. He used those days that also. But video shows badly the guitar body. But anyway cheap guitars that have punk attitude.
kipponi Univox Hi-Flyer. They were an off-brand Mosrite copy from the 70s, and cost practically nothing in the late 80s. You can tell by the shape of the headstock. Real Mosrites had a sort of little chip in the middle, so the headstock looked like a letter M. And real Mosrites weren't that cheap back then. They were well made guitars, and there was the cool factor because of the Ventures and the Ramones. Hi-flyers' bodies were made from plywood.
It’s interesting to see some lyrical changes he’s made in his songs. It shows although he’s one of the best lyricist I ever seen. He didn’t write his songs in one try. He went back to edit and revise them to make it better. Yea he claims to not try and if thats true I’m honestly jealous. But I find it kinda hard to believe. But he was so extremely talented. It’s a shame he left so soon.
I agree with you! Here is some of my original music that artist like Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr, Buddy Holly and THE Beatles have inspired me to create. I want to sound heavy like nirvana but still have some jangy melody like buddy holly. All instruments are recorded by me and that's why they all suck so bad lol. ua-cam.com/video/1bOVRhEbcvU/v-deo.html
KurDt CObain89 haha true but I don’t think there was any conscious thought going into it. Was a spontaneous thing...if he kept still in that moment subduing the urge he might have fucked up his guitar playing lol. Anyway, it’s late I should sleep. Gnite!

One of the best song by Nirvana... tellement planante et puissante. Quel muzicoz ne voudrait pas composer un morceau de cette trempe... complètement ouf...
Concuerdo colegas, una de las mejores de Nirvana, era un tipo que lucía tan tranquilo pero su cabeza siempre estaba retorciendose

Chad banging on a drum like a girl
A male chauvinist who listen Nirvana. Great job pal.
Piotr Pytka sexist fuck

Piotr Pytka hmmmmmm It seems a bit ironic that your being sexist on a Nirvana video
Hearing this makes you want to be in a band 4real
この曲大好きだし89年のこのライブめっちゃカコイイ👍👍👍
Oh how I wish Kurt Cobain was with us still. Music is not the same without Kurt. We miss you brother.

Its on the B-side on the Smells like teen spirit single, wich is pretty cool tho.

Anyone know what guitar Kurt was using?
Of course. Pretty sure it was Mosrite because it has those Bison horn-body. Ramone's used them exclusively. Punk guitar ha ha.

kipponi Never seen kurt use a vox amp it was probably a fender amp
stay blazed
Ok. Kurt used Mesa Boogie amplifiers also.
yeah I know that dude

Knowing that your creator feels ashamed of you it's something you see as unfair and makes you hate everything
Nirvana at their prime!
1991 was their prime, in popularity, if that is what you mean. In my opinion in performance, 1990 was the best.
Paul Chaucer I mean the Bleach era of the Nirvana!
*****
Mishaun compree!
Paul Chaucer Id argue that 93 was their peak
Late 1991 was their prime, Teen Spirit blowing up or not.
fuckin nise very good

앨범보다 더 잘 부르네.
On a same stage with a smells like teen spirit
El se fue porque tenia mas actitud que Dave y no tenia tanta tecnica musical..
😁
I think I'd find it difficult to head bang and play simultaneously

It truly isnt that hard when you really put your head in your own music
It’s not that hard when you know how to play a guitar. Try headbanging while riding a bike lol... don’t really try that
Ugo
Grunge not die
Oporra
Played the shit out of the B side .. Even in his youth /Aneurysm
chad can't keep up...
He's a horrible singer.
Welcome to grunge! That's the point, dumbass. If u want crappy pop show, go listen to BTS
Yeah right dude. His vocals are some of the best of all time. Legendary.
