    My home town in Ontario held a yearly steam-show when I was young. Watching this brings back fond memories of the miniature steam engine I exibited there. :)

    Very cool old machinery, thanks for sharing. Interesting to see that red Sentinel, looks like it's got a full-floating rear axle, like a modern truck, just steam instead of diesel!

      It's the macro lens he is using. He needs to take it off when he's not using it.

    I was on the steam tug Daniel Adamson recently and I found it amusing that it uses a sentinel steam wagon engine as part of the steering gear!

    That is so fascinating. Do they have trucks with water tanks available in case someone runs low or has a problem? I can't imagine how expensive it is to keep all of that machinery functioning safely.

      yes we have water bousers or fire engines at hand water is the most important thing on any steam engine

      The traction ebgine was sold the steam roller "Betsy" Is now in the posetion of his 2 sons and is a regular at steam rallys
